The last two weekends was for the South Wales circuits so not relevant to North Wales figures.

Stats just out: JWs in Wales decline (-3.4%) - COs primed for zero baptisms!
by Darth FayDehr infigures from that latest 2-weekend convention in caridff (wales) reveal jw “growth” now in decline.
baptisms are discouragingly low (21, combined), and circuit overseers have been primed to deal with assemblies where there are no baptisms; see these leaked 2018 instructions:.

My mother just came back from the Cardiff assembly, she went for a day the 1st week and 2 days the second week.
I was amazed when she said there were around 3500 the first week and around 4000 the second (including the Welsh congregations).
Just 4 years ago when we went to our last ever assembly the total was more like 10000. That's a 25% decrease over 4 years.
Not sure what the baptism numbers were though.

Chris Cornell has passed..
by 2+2=5 ingutted to hear this.
spent countless hours listening to his music... i'm sure some here will appreciate his contribution.
i idolised matt cameron throughout my teenage years, cornell's distinct voice smothers some of my favourite music..... sad news indeed.

Really sad. Just read it on the BBC website. Audioslave was one of my favourite bands in my teens.

Here is your typical Kingdom Hall of Jehovah'w Witnesses attendance!
by RULES & REGULATIONS in.
kingdom hall south dakota live stream.....i found this video on youtube.com.
it reminds me of my old kingdom hall where hardly anyone is sitting in the front rows and doesn't seem like they have a large membership.most kingdom halls sit around 200 people at the most and seem to have a hard time filling the seats.. my old congregation had around 45 members when i left 4 years ago.we always seemed to have a hard time meeting the monthly expenses.some months,i was told that some elders would contribute extra money so the congregation would not be in the negative for the month.. how many members did your congregation have while you were still attending and did meet its expenses for the month?.

Attending a same-sex wedding
by Samantharockeby33 inmy cousin, whom is not jw, but we have grown up together our whole lives has just gotten engaged to her same sex partner, i am very conflicted on wether i can/should attend the wedding or not.
i am very close with my cousin and her partner and they are very understanding to our beliefs and differences as she grew up with our whole family being jw.
some family members have already said they will definitely be attending and some definitely not attending so i just want some extra advice and guidance!

We've been out for 2 years now. For a good few years before that our circuit was full of brothers from all age groups wearing tight fitting suits, including myself.
No one ever batted an eye lid. TBH most thought they looked very sharp and smart. If I was to wear a suit now I'd still go for a slimmer fit. No idea what the fuss is about. This GB lot are barking up the wrong tree as far as I'm concerned.

Any regrets whilst you were in the Org
by Tallon inthe biggest regret i have is of 'shunning' persons who were disfellowshipped and for 'marking' ones deemed as bad association.. there's no way i can approach these people to ask them for forgiveness as i've emigrated to another country however, by this post i'd like it to be known..

Not having gone to University has got to be my number 1 gripe, oh and telling a number of people to kindly f@$k off and mind their own business, although to be fair that was more in my younger years. JW'S are so freaking nosey!

Same here ttdtt! We've been out close to 2 years. Stopped cold turkey. Got a few visits and letters, especially when our second child was born (about 6 months after our fade). Other than cordial hellos and small talk in the street nada, which suits us just fine.
