both of us were witnesses when we got married 20+ years ago, we really have a great relationship, I just may have to give a little (couple more meetings here & there) and not have such a bad attitude when I go, because then I am miserable then in turn she is miserable. I just have to accept that I will waste 2 hours going there & block out all the crap, at the end of the day I hope being a good husband trumps everything, but unfortunately watchtower paints a picture that if your not "taking the lead spiritually" you are a bad husband

we have a wonderful marriage based on LOVE!! but there is an elephant in the room that just will not leave and that is the watchtower, she has been pretty weak in the faith for a number of years (she thinks that is my fault, cause I never really took the lead spiritually) bunch of B*&^ S!@#.
now she is starting to get a re-kindling and I feel like crap because I don't want to participate, but.... I just can't do it

"Welcome Home" or "Come back Home" are they serious? these videos are so over the top and designed to tug at your heart strings. they say in the stupid song at the end "Welcome Home My Friend, Now Your Life Can Start Again" is that there new motto now?
they really have lost it, don't even get me started on the exploitation of people in third world countries
this video actually brought a tear to my eye..... not because I fell for it, but because my wife sadly will not wake up from this non-sense

they say that this is direction from the "branch office".
i think it's complete bs, the real reason why they are doing this is to punish me & my family because i am basically a ghost when it comes to meetings & any type of activity.

they still send me the schedule for the weekly meeting schedule (mass e-mail, to all publishers in cong.)
so at the bottom of page back in June it said
"those on the phone hook-up please do not be too noisy, so that the others on phone will not be distracted"
and yet they choose not to give him the code, we have asked 3 times already & they say "NO"
they don't care about us, it's so obvious. true elitism at it's best

yeah they basically suck a$$, my dad is a faithful baptized publisher for about 20 years, only really came in because of me, now I regret it immensely. he just walks around mumbling "maybe they'll give the code"
he is though starting to figure out that this is all BS
I showed him the "footloose dancing video" a few months ago, needless to ay he was floored
