why does wt artwork always have one person that is looking at the reader when depicting a group of people?
whether it's the little girl in the sermon on the amount scene or the woman in the armagedon scene.
what is the psychological and/or subliminal effect of this one the reader?
where is the X?
the other day we went to our friends business to have our computer worked on.
our friend was raised a jw but never got baptized and left when he was in his late teens.
any way we started talking about the new jw.org and the new tv show they have.
Is it really Russels pyramid? I bought this up the other day and they responded saying that it is actually some distance from russels grave?
i cannot wrap my mind around the fact that there is jw tv.
being a born in and living most of my life hearing how tv evangelism is wrong and lazy preaching yet seeing this unfold solidifies this religion as a cult!.
i remember back when i began my fade a few years ago i told my brother during an argument how this religion is just like any other religion in that its bull.
Just put it on the same long list as all the other things WT has condemned other religions for doing...only to see WT eventually do it themselves.
could we start a thread with the same long list?

maybe i'm reading too much into this, but ever looked in a dictionary for the definition of watchtower ?.
watchtower (wchtour)n.an observation tower on which a guard or lookout is stationed to keep watch, as for enemies, for forest fires, or over prisoners.. .
slightly interesting, observation = gb, enemies= worldly folk and prisoners =rank/file.

just saw this today.
quite an experience.
the film raised many issues about clergy, religion, morality, guilt and forgiveness.. .
Fernando, why not get your wife to contact film directors regarding making a film? There is such a huge story from many angles, I'm surprised one hasn't been done yet.
i work in a village called drakesbroughton in between pershore and worcester in worcestershire.
its a large village with about 400 homes.
recently it turned into a no cold calling zone and someone in the village ordered stickers for every household saying "no cold callers, no surveys, no canvassers and no religious callers.
I'm wondering if I could buy these stickers and then distribute them through doors? impact maybe interesting....
im a newbie btw, been lurking for about 5 years
