Ah, but what Jackson forgot to mention is that one inch line is actually an "overlapping" line.

Be Honest About This Doctrinal Matter
by lambsbottom inwife says she always thought the wt said that anyone alive at armageddon that did not get a chance to hear kingdom message may survive?
true?
references?.

Don't know about if they ever changed this doctrine, but currently it is that everyone will hear the message even if it doesn't seem like that, because Jehovah has it "under control".
http://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/w20141215/jesus-illustrations-listen-understand-meaning/
Paragraph 14: "When we meditate on the meaning of Jesus’ illustration, we realize that there is no need for us to be overly concerned about how the Kingdom message will reach the millions who have not yet heard it. Jehovah has everything under control."
So basically, everyone unfaithful will be destroyed at Armageddon, because by that point everyone will have heard the message. Don't worry if it doesn't make any sense that Armageddon is just upon us yet millions are still yet to hear the message, because Jehovah will make sure they can hear it, he has it all under control...yeah, that one requires a real suspension of disbelief.

JW talks herself into deep trouble on Melbourne's radio 3AW

Considering the JW's interpretation of "love" includes shunning family, I wouldn't be surprised if they saw a door getting slammed in their face as "love" - so yeah, half of the people she meets must love the message.

What a juxtaposition in Paragraphs 15 and 16.
Paragraph 15:
So the next time you experience opposition in your witnessing work, take courage. Such mistreatment is proof that you have God’s smile of approval and that his spirit “is resting upon you.”
Paragraph 16:
“No other activity,” adds Sarie, “brings greater satisfaction, and by means of his holy spirit, Jehovah gives all of us the needed power to continue with this lifesaving work.”
So apparently mistreatment and persecution making preaching difficult is proof of God's holy spirit and also being able to do the preaching work is proof of God's holy spirit...do they not see how those two statements contradict each other? The WTBTS is getting very sloppy with its writing.

Craziest demon/magic/supernatural stories you heard when you were a JW
by EndofMysteries inshare yours, i'll start if off, i have a few i heard from the platform or from other jw's.
one from the platform, a witch was studying with jw's, and she had a relationship with demons/spirits.
when she was studying they turned on her and threatened her if she didn't stop.

I can't really think of any particulary crazy ones, but my parents think Dynamo (a magician) is demonic. I almost burst out laughing the first time my dad talked about him. It's mainly because they don't know how he does some of his tricks, and they can't be bothered to look it up, so they assume he has some sort of demonic power or something.
The constant fear of demons present in the JW mindset is not healthy at all. No wonder you see many JWs having serious mental health issues and some committing suicide.

Number 1 is very ironic considering the recent Elders Video about dealing with JWs thinking about suicide. They never suggested any sort of medical help. Just read some scriptures, that'll solve everything...
It's quite sad the WTBTS has to "play down" their true doctrines and practices for the public. One of the great evidences against it I believe - why are they embarassed about the truth? Surely there should be full transparency?

People obsessed with Apple products are ironically quite similar to dye-in-the-wool JWs who just can't get enough of the Borg.

Soooo, PRINCE is still a JW I guess? (he's using the tactics)
by RagingBull inhttp://www.contactmusic.com/story/anthony-anderson-befriends-prince-after-jehovah-s-witness-encounter_4380871.

But he rarely gets invited to parties and gigs by Prince himself, adding, "He has his people call me... and they're like, 'Prince would like you to come to the party... Prince would like you to come up to the suite for pizza and pasta!' I'm like, 'Alright, it's like 3am...' When Prince summons you to the suite or to the house, you show up.
I'm shocked. Late night parties with worldly people? Someone should link the elders this!

Jehovah hates universities but loves Michael Behe
by opusdei1972 injehovah wants his faithful witnesses for hating the university:.
university and college campuses are notorious for bad behaviordrug and alcohol abuse, immorality, cheating, hazing, and the list goes on.
what is the atmosphere in many of this worlds institutions of higher education?

The portrayl of Michael Behe as a reputable scientist in this article is just ridiculous. He's a joke amongst the scientific community as his ideas are not based on science whatsoever. However, the WTBTS love using the authority fallacy in order to "prove" evolution is wrong because "well, all these intelligent scientist guys believe in creationism, so why shouldn't you?" It's a blatant fallacy which again goes against the idea of people thinking for themselves, in line with the rest of the doctrine of course. Michael Behe's first book argued about "irreducible complexity" that showed evolution could not happen, but then his second published in 2007 promoted the idea that the mutations in evolution were God-driven - perhaps it was "new light"? Notice how all the questions are about intelligent design and NOT creationism - and notice how in his replies he always says Darwinism rather than evolution itself. Behe is probably unaware that the WTBTS supports day-age creationism rather than his intelligent-design-God-directed-the-mutations pseudoscience.
The funny thing about the WTBTS is that they always try to portray themselves as scientific when discussing evolution yet they can't seem to differentiate between evolution, Darwinism, and abiogenesis. If they thought their ideas did hold up, why did they not interview an evolutionary scientist as well? Oh wait, we're talking about the WTBTS here...

Now Scotland are demanding more. Get real.
Scotland never "demanded" more. They were promised more powers by both Brown and the trio of Cameron, Milliband and Clegg in the lead up to the 18th.
http://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bx9-5KCCcAEk5fX.jpg
Now there's disagreements between the parties because they realise giving more powers will anger the English population. Milliband has to choose between keeping his promises to Scotland or losing English support for Labour which of course will ruin next year's election campaign. The leaders are stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Making that vow was a massive mistake - they have got themselves stuck in a corner.
