Hello there! Welcome.
Well, if you have many family members in and you want to stay on the down low, you need to remove your real photo ID. In case you are caught it'll be a real proof against you as an apostate.

Why bother creating all the other galaxies?
by purrpurr ini'm still reading and researching the bible.
a thought occurred to me... the universe is so huge and full yet most of it cannot be seen by the naked human eye.. while jw's could claim that god created the stars to look pretty/ for navigation... what about the rest that cannot be seen?
the huge never ending mass of universe that the bronze age writers of the bible had no idea about?.

Could "this generation" inspire a new "1975 debacle"?
by Island Man ini think that it's possible that they're getting ready to issue a new end time date insinuation like they did with 1975. now i know what some of you are probably thinking: why would they be so stupid as to repeat such a mistake, knowing what happened in 1975?
well here're two reasons why i think they could do it:.
first, it's important to remember that they are deluded.

Everything nonsense they bring out, the watchtower zombies will swallow it wholeheartedly no matter how deluded it seems -

Are you angry for having been a JW?
by Half banana ini remember seeing the ex-jws parading around outside the assembly like lepers holding placards of hate.
we were the righteous and enlightened ones... and they were lost in outer darkness.
just dont look at them was the standard response to their unwelcome presence..

Yes I get angry sometimes. But to really move on, you have to let go of that anger and just look at them like a normal part of life with little effect on you. Besides, showing them how angry you are will only make them stronger in their misguided belief system
You just can't reason with zombies

TV.JW.ORG (September 2015) - Generation explained again
by Designer Stubble inguess the overlapping generation concept is difficult for most to comprehend.
david spane does his best to explain it again.
the cutoff date for this generation has now moved to 1992 (was once 1935), the year that fred franz died.

So they're trying to say they were in Jesus head when he said the generation thing and only they can know what he meant. How crappy. -

What Convinced you to Leave?
by LaurenM ini've been posting here a lot, but these last few weeks have been very difficult for me.
anyways, lately, i've been thinking about confessing everything i've done to the elders and going back, but deep down, i don't really think it's the truth...so my question is, what convinced you it wasn't the truth and that leaving wasn't a horrible decision that everyone in the truth makes it out to be?

The difficult situation you're in should show you how false the whole organization is. If it's Gods org, you shouldn't feel fearful about leaving. It's cult with deluded systems and wishful thinking. -

LaurenM, its because you're still indoctrinated , that's why you feel its imperative to confess to the elders. Don't make that move. It's dangerous. Rather , focus on your decision, whether to leave or stay in for a while due to family. Psyche yourself up. It's a cult and they won't understand anything contrary to their beliefs. Don't let them guilt-trip you. It's very powerful.
What convinced me to leave:
Higher education
The sole authority the GB had over all witnesses
The fact that they are not willing to hear disagreements with them
And many more.
All the best.
