It has been a proven fact that, some that get the flu, get the flu right away after the flu shot....Thats why some do not bother with it, but in the long run, they say you are better off to get it....

I went to see my mom after 4 years, now I am sadder
by orangefatcat inlast evening i recieved an e-mail from my aunt who is not a jw, and she told me that my mom was taken to the hospital with a serious bowel obstruction.
my aunt knowing our family sitution felt it would be a good time to see what your mom would do.
so i called my sister who lives not to far from me.

This cult can be so blinding to most( jws)....Just remember, you are the better person, by going to see your mom....
I sense that she wanted to break free for 2.3 secs, but hen backed away again...I Cant even comprened of not having my mom or dad in my life....
Your husband sounds so compassionate for you, and you sound sooo thankful to have him....
I do hope that one day your mom will see the light, that she is causing you so much pain....My fear is though, she sounds like she is from the old books, do it just like the book....

I wanted to get a new set of golf clubs, but not like this......
by Makena1 inother than my big bertha 3 wood, and a "tight lies" 5 wood - i wasn't happy with the graphite shaft irons i had purchased 5 years ago.
when i did not take my clubs with me on trips, i would rent or borrow some pings or calloway irons and seemed to hit them better.
point of the story, the other day (or night) thieves broke into my garage and stole golf clubs, almost all of my power tools, including a brand new echo weed wacker.

I feel you pain...it really does suck....I myself was robbed as well about 1 month ago....All you can do is report it to the police, then get a hold of your insurance company....Most will not do anything for you, unless you have a police report...It is the stuff that has sentimentel value, that is the kicker.....that stuff can never be replaced....FYI, alot of robbers wait for a claim to made and then come back to steal the new stuff again....Let a little time go by before replacing your things, and get a better security system for your place.....( a dog works well)

This flu that is going around is knocking everybody DOWN....I had it about 11/2 weeks ago and I was done, in bed for 3 days.....There is some saying, the flu shot is not working this year, and some are saying that our bodies are getting immuine to the shot, and so inturn, if you skip getting your flu shot, you more then likely will have more of a chance getting the flu, and it being bad...This I will confirm....There was a girl not far from us, passed away last week because of the flu.( she was only 3)...My doctor said, If your symptons do not pass within 3 days, or a high fever ( especailly in children and elderly) you should seek medical attention right away.....Some just take the flu with a grain of salt and suck it up, but this is something not to mess around with...it can have deadly consequences.......
A few things to keep watch for....
1. High fever 2. hot/colds sweats 3. tunnel vision 4.sore neck ie.acky, stiff, sore to turn 5.shakes 6.non stop of throwing up.( dehydrated when this happens)
I am not a doctor by any means, but have done my homework on this flu bug going around, only because I was so ill....Now my son is very ill, and not even chicken soup is staying down....Lots of rest and flat gingerale is all they suggest for the bug....

I was a winner!!

Awwwww thanks Little Witch....i feel proud to say my kids are mine, even though it has not been a walk in the park....It is the little things like this, that makes you appreciate your children and the way we have raised them...
