it's been a very long week.i have spent most of week in the hospital with my nana.. she had a massive heart attack on tuesday and it is not looking good.she has gone down hill fast since pop's passed recentainly.. please say a prayer for her.

How much would you say the average JW donates in $$$ ?????
by run dont walk inregarding donations, what would you say the average jw would donate in $$$ in a one year span.. some are richer then others, some have no children, some have 6 children, i imagine it would vary quite a bit.. so what would be a fair average, $1,000 / year per person ?????.
now when i say donation, i mean every dollar a person gives, this would include contribution boxes in the hall, assemblies, etc, donations for magazines, books, videos etc, every possible thing one would donate money to the watchtower for.. if $1000 a person is a fair number, then multiply it by 6,000,000.
= $ 6 billion dollars a year, nice scam watchtower.

While I was growing up, we were very poor. There were 5 of us kids and only one small income.I remember us just donating the coffee ( a big huge can of the best) for the pioneers and ones going out on service on Saturdays...I also remember just giving 3 bucks( a one dollar bill and a two dollar bill) for our weekly mags and stuff. So I guess all in all it was about 16.00 bucks a month....Did not get a hole lot from us........

Gretchen....Stitch ( the cat) is doing better. It cost us an arm and a leg but, we opted to save him. He ended up with having a broken pelvis.He is home now with us. With alot of tender loving care he will be fine, though he will always have a bad limp the vet said.We just had to put down our dog not too long ago so there was no way we cold handle losing another pet....thanks for asking about him....

a little update.....
My nana as been moved out of ICU now. She is stable but still criticul. The rollar coaster ride as certainly been hectic lately but I really know how much my family depends on me now. My poor dad as been a mess as he just lost his father not to long ago and it does not make it any easyer when there are JW's coming in every other day bugging us.
This JW thing is really getting to me. These people have no interest in helping us or relieving us from the hospital.Their many objective is to make sure we don't give nana any blood if the situation arises. as from as I can tell, there just looking for the big pay out for when she passes. The hole thing makes me bloody sick!
I was actually asked to leave the waiting room as I could not restrain myself any longer and gave them a piece of my mind.I f**king finally lost it on them and did it every feel good.They have not been into see her or us for that matter since it happened up untill today. They sent the CO in today. I basically told him to get the hell out as well before my dad knew that he was there. All they do is try to make my mom and dad feel guilty and royally pi** me off.
So that's it for now....Thanks for your thoughts and pms....It really does make me feel better...

X-mas card list....eeek I have a problem....
by morty ini know someone else started a thread about exchanging x-mas cards but i could not find it and here is my problem....... it got started some time ago ( the thread) and when i recieved mailing addresses from pms i did not get a chance to write all the addys down right away.
today, i went and bought my xmas-cards and thought i would start them and i now relise that alot of my pms have been erased from my inbox.if you sent me your address for a card could you please resend it to me.
or if you have not sent me your mailing address but would like to recieve one from me please do so as well.....anyone else that would like to follow on to the list as well, please go ahead..... morty of the christmas is only 8 weeks away class

so...today was a good day...
by nowisee intoday i went to the symposium in waterbury, ct., which i learned about here.
it was the first time in 28 years that i met someone i knew from way back when.
this person had seen my father shortly before he died in 1986. he said my father had been very upset with wts.
