A thought on Quotes and the copyright thing.
by Forscher ini downloaded and reviewed the contents of the zip file that was thoughtfully provided of the content of quotes' sight.
i am not a lawyer, however in college i did take a number of law courses, so i'll give you my take on the situation.
it looks to me like the wtbts did have quotes dead to rights on that one.

Confused:
I deign to disagree:
JW's have no Mother Theresa
JW's have not ever stood up politically for the rights of the disadvantage
JW's don't have any special recognition for the women that serve
JW's have not underwritten any substansial contributions to the humanities. I've been to the Stanley Theater, and nothing in it is close to the Sistine Chapel or St. Peter's. And Gregorian Chants positively rock next to Song 114.
JW's have not established centers of higher learning (or, by extension, a good college basketball program)
JW's haven't produced any appreciable philosophers in the league of Francis or Augustine (Ray Franz doesn't count...he left.)

Do ALL men cheat??
by ChakkaConned ini was watching an old eddie murphy hbo special a few weeks ago where he was talking about relationships.
in his bit, he went off on how all men cheat on their wives and girlfriends.
he was adamant that even the nicest of guys will take the opportunity to cheat if given the chance and that women need to understand that this is the way it is, 100% of the time.

come on guys, you can do better than this !
by deddaisy inyawn, bore, blah.................come on guys, jw's are getting pretty dusty here, where's the zest on this board ?
tell your relatives, friends, etc: hey, you were part of the u.n., the watchtower bible & tract society owned a majority of stock in a jw company that had military contracts, the organization that you represent was false prophesying that the world was going to end in the 1800s through the 1900s, and when you can prove to me otherwise, than maybe i'll talk to you.
these guys are just going along with the program because they've gone along this far and they don't know what else to do with their lives because all of their acquaintances are part of this organization and their lives are almost up.............................to turn completely against this organization would be declaring defeat of their very lives.

or, that its really not that bad.
govenrnments dont seem to care too greatly either, i'm thinking of australia and the usa at the moment.

This is dedicated to two people...the Late Great Sam Kinision who sang (or, rather, screamed) it, and Jennifer L.
WILD THING (Lyrics by S. Kinison, Song by The Troggs)
Wild Thing, I think you move me!
But I wanna know for sure
Everytime I kiss you I taste what other men had for lunch
The only thing that can get you off is to see me in pain
But i think i love you!
Wild Thing
You make my heart scream
You took everything
Oh, Wild Thing
Wild Thing I think you move me!
Ahh, just came to my mind, I thought I'd say that.
You made me trust you, then stuck the knife in my heart
You're a lying, unfaithful, untrustable tramp
But I think I love you!
Wild Thing
You make my heart scream
You took everything
Oh, Wild Thing
Spoken (and screamed):
Everyone's got some kind of Wild Thing that went through our lives and made it hell. Because eveyone's had one, you me, nobody likes to lose. And you know she's out there, laughing at you, I dont care if it was last week or third grade, someone broke your heart, what was her name?
Wild Thing
I'll never forgive you!
How do you live with yourself?
You never loved me!
You used me!
I hope you slide under a gas truck and taste your own blood!
Why didnt you tell me you were a demon from hell?
You deserve the men your gonnna meet, you loser!
Railroad bums, transients, out-of-work guys
Guys that are gonna use you like you used me!
Guys that are gonna take money out of your purse and crawl out a window!
oh ohhhhhhhh!
Whats her name?
Yeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh!Badger, of the "That felt good" class

the Jerky Boys
by kaykay_mp ini decided to start my own thread instead of hijacking the other one about "what kind of music do you listen to?".
sol has got to be my favorite character:.
i like the one where he's talking to this guy's mom; it's called "nudist colony"--"he said we go to the beach and step on piss clams.
