  A Newbie NO MORE...

  he was a simple, somewhat bright, but really geeky indian boy...struggled with his faith and personal problems.... .

  but he found a group of great friends with shoulders to cry on and to celebrate all that was good in his life, which he a built in spite of others who claimed to be family and friends.

  my daughter was on my pc and i was still signed into my im.

  i was trying to take a nap.

  anyway, a fellow member of this board ..who shall remain nameless signed in on im and my daughter told them i was napping, this then made me a prime target for a prank..

  "ALL RIGHT, CHILDREN, PIECE OF PAPER, NUMBER IT 1-35!"

  (Groan)

  "THIS IS A SURPRISE TEST...NO TALKING OR YOU WILL BE GIVEN ZEROES!"

  (bad faces, but silence)

  "YOU KNEW SOMETHING LIKE THIS WOULD HAPPEN, SO YOU HAVE TO BE READY!"

  I then asked five impossible questions (i.e. What were the major concessions of the Yalta Conference) of material we had not even covered.

  Then I asked.

  "No. 5...what is today's date?"

  It happened to be Apr. 1.

  Elevation to Godesses

  i do not wish to hijack minimus's thread on the opposite sex -- but i think women are so wonderful that i think some should be elevated to the status of godesses -especially here on this board -- now i am not against a bit of "false" worship -- so my two nominations are vivamus (wrapped in blue bubblegum) and xena -- possibly stinkypantz -- wot says youz guys?

  remember -- we can not elevate all to godess status as that would diminish the status -- otherwise every woman on this board could have the role
