I do know of a far off sect of the Mormons that may endorse such teachings. Read "Under the Banner of Heaven" by John Krakauer. he talks about how they still practice polygamy and hold some of the really old school Calvinist and Mormon beliefs.

I'm not sure, cause I'm still a JW...but I had an awakening just the other day.
A workmate (An woman who is like a big sister to me) was catching some of my worries, frustrations, etc... and said:
"Badger, you sound like an 18-year-old boy when you talk about this!"
This was big...I had tought I was catching up on my maturity since moving out of my home town...now I find out I've got further to go...
If it happens, it probably will be like maturing more...

There's a lot of peer pressure to baptism, too. Not only do you have to try to please you parents, but If you're in a hall with a lot of youths your age, you're put up for a lot of comparisions. I baptized at 15, among the last. the average for the others was 13 or 12. When I made a move to handle mikes shortly thereafter, The elders clicked and said "I'm not sure...Brother Double Life and Brother Incompetent have been baptized longer than you.
I was penalized for pondering an important decision...my son is five, and there's no way I'd seriously let him consider making that kind of decision.

I'm a Cat Toy for the Universe it seems
by arrowstar ini was told last night in chat that i had better post about a recent event in my life or there was gonna be a'whoopin'....so here goes.... i was in a car accident tuesday night on my way home from my mary kay unit meeting.
i was as happy as i could be because we had a little "ceremony" for me.
you see, i've moved up in the company and now am what they call a star recruiter.

Received letter from wtbs re Vicki Boer

one was from my local mp saying he had passed my letter to another minister and the foreign and commonwealth office are investigating to see if its an appropriate issue to raise, and the other was from the wbts of britain.

Stagnation is a dirty secret in the society and among the rank and file. I remember the late 80's when 35-40 would get baptized at a circuit assembly. Now that number is around a dozen.
