  WT Teaching That You Can't Leave Behind

  after posting on another thread it became apparent to me that it can be difficult for some ex jws to totally shake off all wt teaching , even after leaving the org.

  do you still feel guilty going into a church for a wedding or a funeral .

  can you bring yourself to celebrate birthdays or christmas .

  If you don’t want to expand your horizons beyond the JWs: Masturbate, preferably to Internet porn or with some personal satisfaction device.

  If you do want to expand your horizons beyond the JWs: Start dating, but get a Virtual Private Network (VPN), secret phone number, post office box, or whatever you need to maintain secrecy if you are still Physically In (PI).

  But if/when you become Physically Out, Mentally Out (POMO), then, well, f^ck it – you’ve finally got it made!

  Protesting Works. It is protests like this that is getting the media’s attention.

  for years many former jehovah's witnesses criticized and attacked protesters for protesting at jehovah's witness events with signs and banners.

  many thought that protesting feeds into the jw persecution complex.

  it now appears that their efforts paid off.

  The cult grew bit by bit, steadily eroding people’s spiritual frame of reference in favor of the dictates of a man-made corporate hierarchy. And that is how it can be dismantled: exposure and resistance – bit by bit.

  The protest in the above video may not in itself bring about the fall of the Watch Tower. But our collective voices worldwide will certainly open people’s eyes and make a very significant impact, especially in this age where facts can be accessed and shared with monumental efficiency.

  interesting to see how they home in doctrines that are impossible to defend, even solely from a bible point of view, and state them as facts that only satan would question.. no same sex marriages - really?.

  don't celebrate christmas and birthdays - really?.

  refuse a life-saving blood transfusion - really?

  Perhaps angels wear SCUBA equipment while they fly from the Pleiades constellation to earth. And maybe they get that equipment from Amazon dot Heaven. (Sorry, I couldn’t make it any more religiously irreverent – my brain is currently being massaged by a few bubbly pints.)

  Indeed – did God really say that . . . . that a group of seven sexually frustrated, narcissistic old men wearing suits and ties, sitting around a corporate boardroom table in Brooklyn Warwick, New York would comprise the “Governing Body” / “Faithful and Discreet Slave” (capitalization theirs) – apparently™ soon to be ‘appointed over all his [Jesus’] belongings’ just before Armageddon (Matt 24:47)?
