HI & Welcome
Loosing people you thought cared about you can be really hard. They say they care and then it turns out they meant only if you agree with them. Conditional friendship and love isn't real friendship or love. Thank God for his unconditional love and that he's always there for us even when other people are hurting us.
Never visited when I left but I kinda went out with a bang so there wasn't much mystery to it. Well, at least to the ones who new about it-- they hid it from everyone else who must have assumed I just 'fell away' or something. We're here for ya and if you want to talk to any of us just e-mail
WELCOME again & God bless, <>< Angie

realization
by musky ini just realized this today.
i started doubting the witnesses teachings about 16 years ago.
being raised a witness made it difficult to believe that this was not the truth.

The fence can be a dangerous place [8>]!
People will poke at ya from both sides
Well, heres a poke from the other side:
If you care about Jehovah and love him then
Study the Bible and only the Bible for yourself.
If your beliefs can't withstand that, then there's a problem.
Then you can decide whether to fix the problem and put your faith in what the Bible says or you can choose to ignore it and hope the JWs turn out to be right about Hell not existing .
Just kidding about the hell thing cuz' love for God should drive your quest, not fear of a punishment.
Sincerely...........consider it..............
God bless and e-mail anytime,

nativenyer23--
Jews for Jesus is a ministry by Jewish people that believe in Jesus as the Messiah prophesied about. They are VERY good for information and any help you would need. The greater 'movement' or 'denomination' is Messianic Judaism. They are christian but connect their Jewish heritage, languages, and worship in their faith and services. My husband & I attended a messianic Jewish temple for a while if you have any questions feel free to e-mail me .
Check out their website if you'd like:

We are on their mailing list, if you'd like some of their info I think you can sign up for it online. -

I don't follow religion..............
I follow GodFaith doesn't have to be blind. A person chooses it to be blind.
The evidence is out there for those who care enough to look and consider and God is not afraid of research. Just a thought. <>< -

Who will go to heaven?
by misty ini know that jw's say only 144,000. however, i just read a book called "as time runs out" by robert jeffress and he claims that all christians who have received jesus will be picked up at the rapture.
but, he says, we will not all have the same rank in heaven.
he claims that different responsibilities will be assigned.

Dear Misty;
Everyone who puts their faith in the true God will go to heaven-- I think we agree on this . One cannot just pick whatever they'd like to be true, blieve it with all their heart, and make truth happen that way.
For example: You're in an airplane about to go sky diving. There is a line of parachutes agaist the wall for you to choose from. The hitch? Only one of the sacks has a parachute in it- the rest are empty. Now, you can either just pick one, strap it on and believe that you have a working one and jump--- or you can take time to examine and pick out the working one. Sounds stupid not to check it out huh? Believing and hoping sincerely doesn't change which one holds the parachute, does it?
Same way with truth/true God. There is one truth out there. We can either take a blind leap of faith or we can examine to find the truth.
FYI: Deciding not to believe in God period can be just as big of a blind leap of faith as arbitrarily picking a religion.OK, sidetracked As to the rest of your question, rapture, ranks etc... it's kind of more than one question. The Bible does teach the rapture. People disagree to when it will occur (pre,mid,post-trib) but it will happen. I believe that the scriptures teach pre-tribulation rapture. I don't believe the scripture teach ANYWHERE that there is an earned ranking system within heaven. I have studied the bible extensively and read it in its entirity several times and would be quite interested as to where this author is drawing this doctrine from in the scriptures. The Bible referes to Christians recieving different crowns-- for various things like spreading the gospel, longing for his comming, matyrdom, etc... but those don't mean any person has a different rank or that one is better than the other. We won't have to 'work' in heaven/eternity. The work is finished Revelation in the period of Jesus' millenial reign does speak of christians ruling over the nations of the earth. This is a detailed subject though and would like to chat/write with you further on this maybe through e-mail? your address is restricted so please e-mail me
Thanks! God bless,,

After JWs--NOW WHAT???
by Smoldering Wick inok, it's been four years for me since i left the jws.
i have been so busy trying to recover from the blow of leaving and losing friends, religion, a social group etc., that i haven't considered (too much) about what's next.
i mean, i've tried to be open minded and listen to other people's beliefs hoping that somewhere/sometime/something would click.

Hi Smolder
I am now a christian who left the WT because of personal prayer and Bible study. Hooberus & I seem to agree on the central issue Just remember that God is not the same thing as religion. Also, technically, to pray to Jesus doesn't neccessarily mean you believe he is God. He is prayed to in the Bible and we are commanded to pray to him as well. So praying to him is scriptural-- the fact that praying to him is in the Bible and the details of prayer does lend itself as additional proof that Jesus is God though. Just remember to study the Bible for yourself and leave behind the WTs, or anyone elses, presumptions as to what it says.
The truth speaks for itself. My personal take on those supernatural types of things?
I am not afraid of the devil or the supernatural or the magic arts-- for I am in Christ. I understand the intrigue of it. I do know to seek information from anyone but God (like phsychics or mediums) is wrong and since I have God leading me why do I need someone elses input? I don't I do know that to seek power from anyone but God is also wrong and I personally wouldn't want any power from anywhere else. God knows all and his plan is best so using spells or rituals to manipulate things is also wrong and not the best way. All in all I know God personally, in a relationship. I don't need anything else to influence mine or others lives because God has more power and love in him than any of those other sources I could seek out.If God is real, like I know intellectually and through experience and you also seem to lean in that direction, then knowing the truth about him is of utmost importance. Study of the Bible and all the evidence out there will lead to true christianity (not WT or other falshoods).
I understand the intrest but believe it is an incorrect path to choose based on the evidence. If you ever want to chat or vent or discuss just e-mail me. I respect all opinions and thoughts because the people behind them are important . It's not about who's right or wrong or proving who's 'best', it is just about truth.I'm praying for you and stay true to yourself and to God. God's not afraid of investigation, so seek him and study/research all you want!
OKie, I'll shut up for now but have a great day
