Thank you, James. It is over $500 just to have a belt replaced. If it has broken or jumped time, you're talking 1500 to 2000 to repair the engine. I learned the hard way with this last car.

Suggestions for car buying
by FlyingHighNow inif you were a lady and you were 55 and had $5,000 or less to spend on a used car, what would buy?
top concerns: good mpg; reliable; in not having major issues like ball joints breaking, timing belts breaking, etc.
not too expensive to maintain.

Fat Girls Guide to Life book
by love2Bworldly inanyone read the "fat girl's guide to life"?
i am reading it right now and finding it pretty interesting.
it makes me think outside the box a little bit about how much money is spent on products for people to lose weight, and how much money saturates the market and influences so much of the media.. the author's attitude is one i try to have-- exercise, be balanced in eating habits, drink water, take nutrition supplements, and don't obsess over dieting & what the scale says or about other people's judgements toward my weight.. right now, i already know why i am overweight-- i am eating to deal with my bipolar issues.

I have done protien, grains like ahalf cup of brown rice and half cups of fresh fruit. It's tough sometimes to know what kind of nutrition is best for your body.

Girls, did you watch that Lou Bega video? If you didn't, here is the link again. Watch this, it'll make you smile:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2iC8CRKxvmQ
Lyrics:
Excuse me can I have your attention please for one more time.
She tastes like cola sweet sweet sugar cola
When I took a sip from her lips she send me on a trip
She keeps me up at night and that's all because she kicks
Stop your diet baby you don't have to slim down
I love your curves and believe me it is every pound
Stop your diet come on do it for me
I love you round round round cause you're so sexy
She tastes like cola sweet sweet sugar cola
When I took a sip from her lips she send me on a trip
She keeps me up at night and that's all because
She tastes like cola sweet sweet sugar cola
When I took a sip from her lips she send me on a trip
She keeps me up at night and that's all because she kicks
Can I try it Baby you don't have to be shy
You seem to be on your own and I'm wondering why
Show me all that you've got do it for me
I love you round round round 'cause you're so sexy
She tastes like cola sweet sweet sugar cola
When I took a sip from her lips she send me on a trip
She keeps me up at night and that's all because
She tastes like cola sweet sweet sugar cola
When I took a sip from her lips she send me on a trip
She keeps me up at night and that's all because she kicks
I'll be your sugar daddy you'll be my sugar cane
With every sip I'm taking you creep into my vein
You are as sweet as cola you push like caffeine
I wanna know the secret that no one's ever seen
She tastes like cola sweet sweet sugar cola
When I took a sip from her lips she send me on a trip
She keeps me up at night and that's all cause
She tastes like cola sweet sweet sugar cola
When I took a sip from her lips she send me on a trip
She keeps me up at night and that's all because she tastes like cola -

I stayed tiny, right into my thirties, 23 inch waist and 36 inch hips. I didn't know it was tiny. I had too much attention from men. If you had told me at the time that I'd be 55, definitely not tiny and still have such handsome men begging me to go out with them, I'd have said you were delusional. I am confident. I was lucky to have a younger boyfriend, who is still my devoted friend, for many years. He told me from the start that beauty doesn't come in one size. Ladies, think about it, confidence in a man is ATTRACTIVE. It is the same for women. The good thing is that being what yiddish describes as zaftig, well it screens out the twits. Look up the real definition for the word twit. And definitely the self absorbed bores will leave you alone, unless they happen to love zaftig, at least then they will flatter you.

I'll have to look the book up. My mom had a book about loving who you are at any size. Meanwhile:

Love, eat healthy foods. Be balanced. Exercise. Take the best care of your hair and skin. Don't be afraid to dress well and use cosmetics. I remember a comedian once said, and he was black, "Don't try telling a 350 lb black woman she aint sexy." And he spoke of how black women tend to care more about dressing well and looking their best no matter what size.
Beauty doesn't come in a size. A woman can be beautiful, slender and boring. If she's got a natural sex appeal and charisma, she's going to have it no matter what she weighs or how old she gets. Confidence is key.
If anyone pressures you to look a certain way, or to be a certain size, remember that it is his/her issue, not yours. Shallow people are unpleasant. I'll take fat and jolly any day over a twit, fat or thin.
