I always hear, work smart. If you make 100 an hour washing windows, it's more sensible than working for $20, doing that job you need a degree for, if you enjoy it and you pay your quarterlies. Nothing wrong with humble work.

One thing about this site that bothers me
by keyser soze inthe constant references to 'window washers' as something derogatory.. i understand the context of it-that most jws are uneducated, and unqualified to do much more.
but sometimes the references seem snobbish, almost mean-spirited.
one poster, on another thread, essentially referred to window washers as 'losers'.

Suggestions for car buying
by FlyingHighNow inif you were a lady and you were 55 and had $5,000 or less to spend on a used car, what would buy?
top concerns: good mpg; reliable; in not having major issues like ball joints breaking, timing belts breaking, etc.
not too expensive to maintain.

I have the funds now. Any additional thoughts and ideas are sought and welcomed. I am doing this car search with no man or vehicle to get around with.

I just read that you should only wash the scalp part of your head and the hair over it. If it is long like mine is, waist length, you should not wash that hair, only rinse and condition it. I basically do that already. The hair that is past my hairline is pretty healthy and shiny. I wash my hair two times a week, sometimes three. When I was a teenager with oily skin and hair, I washed my hair everyday. During the summer, sometimes I washed my hair twice a day.

Volunteering For Hospice
by lambsbottom inso, i have some free time on my hands and decided to volunteer for a hospice company that is fairly large and well known.. anyway, i visit people that have a relatively short time to live and it is very fulfilling.
however, the company that i am going through is for-profit.
i knew this when i signed up, but i don't care because its all about the hospice patients for me.. so, i get this email:.
