I'm not so knowledgeable. I just learn things through personal experience and then like you, researching remedies for problems I have with Windows or my PC.

Low Disk Space Persists
by compound complex inmy c drive is running out of space.
and to my surprise the low disk space problem persists after i free up disk space on my computer.
i uninstalled a lot of programs.i thought that i have free space on my c drive.

My computer had to be rebooted and I lost all of the notes about about previous lists. I am reading every list. Some of the things are things I didn't think of while I was in. Some of the things on your lists, I did. My heart brims with empathy for everyone of you.
Like I mentioned earlier, I have never posted my story here on JWN. Some of my experiences while in the JWs are too painful to revisit. It's easier to accept that they happened and then rarely think about them. Some of it I've mentioned here and there on different topics. I'm just so glad to have waked up and left. I have my doubts that my health could have survived staying in.

The suicide of a brother in our KH who had been counseled and threatened with DFing. He left behind a young wife and three children.
This is so sad. How many of us know JWs who took their own lives over disfellowshipping?

FliyingHighNow - I couldnt help but notice how many of yours had to do with people being treated so wrongly. That is/was my eye opener also.
Yes, the more mistreatment we saw, the more our eyes were opened.
When he decided that he was going to.put that aside and become a typical jw chauvinist my-oh-my did things REALLY start falling apart. That's part of the reason we are now divorced!
The governing body has a lot to answer for. My marriage ended up a disaster, too.

Delete all but the most recent restore point. System Restore uses restore points to return your system files to the state they were in at an earlier point in time. How do you eliminate restore points, then? Defeats the purpose, no?!?!?!?

It's been a long time....

those that remember me, well, i'm doing ok, so far.. those that remember my wife, she passed away as of june 26th this year after a long battle with various health issues for the past 6 years.. thought i'd drop a note to say hello to everyone that knew me.. .
i hope everyone is well.. .

They are persistent like to is when you meant to type two, their is when you meant to type there. Your brain will give your fingers homonyms, when you are writing or typing. If you hate proofreading, you'll get hit by the flying space disks, here and there, too. Or how about hear and there or they're?

What would you do if JW's lifted the shunning policy?

what if the gb decided that "new light" revealed to them that disfellowshipping was wrong and they would do away with it for current dfd members as well...... .......16 years of my life.
would i welcome my family back?

I'd be on the phone calling my sister, her husband, my youngest brother and his wife. I love them. I miss them. It would be like receiving them from the dead. They have no contact with any of us family that are not JWs. They carry it to an extreme. We are dead to them. I know my sister, though, if the governing body said she could speak to me, she'd be busting her butt to find my phone number.
