Hortensia, yes, we sure can relate to each other. It's so much better with a car. It offers a big amount of freedom.
Your new car is dandy. How many miles? Be sure to replace the timing belt at the recomended mileage.
I had a timing belt break twice on my last car, my eagle talon. The first time I had the engine rebuilt. The last time, I sold it to the mechanic for $200.
This time I specifically looked for cars with timing chains. My G6 has a timing chain. Yay.
The car had 103,000 miles on it. Roughly. They were asking for $8995. The car is in nearly perfect condition bodywise and the enterior is almost like new. The car has four almost brand new radials that I checked the price. They are $130 tires, radials/all weather. The breaks are almost new and wonderful. It's a base model but loaded with options. But it only had one key, a chipped key and no fob. The CD player pauses and there is one recall. So, I offered $8,500. They said, "No, because with taxes and fees, the car will be almost $9400. I said, "If you can walk me out the door for $9,000 even, I've got cash. I'll buy the car right now. I even have a tag." They said, "$9,100. I said, "No, because if I have to replace the CD player, have a fob and chip key made and go through the inconvenience of having the recall completed, that's expense and inconvenience. $9,000 firm." The two sales men went for a conference. They came and asked if I'd split that hundred and meet them at $9,050. I said well, there's no handbook for the car either. No, $9,000 firm."
I got the car with all taxes and fees for $9,000. I have no payment. One problem is full coverage insurance in Michigan is EXPENSIVE. The most expensive in the USA because if an injured person(s) needs medical care after the 2 year mark, they get it for the rest of their lives.

Richard Dawkins defends mild pedophilia, says it does not cause lasting harm

Demokan, if he is a 15 year old, is only doing what a lot of us at 15 did, thinking he understands the world in a mature way. I sure thought I did at 15. But I can tell him, the further you get from 15, the more you understand that you were only three years away from 12! You only became a teenager two years before that. Adults are aware of that. They be wrong to manipulate and take advantage of teenagers. They know you have burning hormones and curiosty. They know you suddenly feel grown up and smarter than adults and I used to tell my kids, "smarter than God." They will tickle your ears and tell you every little thing you want to hear, to get into your pants. Yes, you may be curious about sex and able to say you want to engage in sex. Does that mean you understand what it will do to your developing self? To your life? To your future and how you view yourself and your sexuality.
You can make decisions. Yes you can. Does that mean you are capable of making good decisions? Some 15 year olds do make good decisions. They understand they still have a lot of growing up to do and that it's the time of life to concentrate on preparing well for adult life, not being a toy in the bed of an adult who doesn't care if you graduate from high school, go to college, enjoy being young and dating people your own age. That adult will rob you of every experience you are supposed to have at 15 and 16 and 17 and even 18, which sometimes is your senior year in high school.
You can never go back and relive these years, once they are gone, that's it. Why jump into the adult world and throw those precious, vital experiences away just to satisfy curiosity? Why throw them away for some selfish adult who should be with other adults, but would rather exploit you?
Um, pedophilia applies to below 18.
Not it doesn't. " Pedophilia is defined as the fantasy or act of sexual activity with prepubescent children."http://www.psychologytoday.com/conditions/pedophilia
Hebephilia is the primary or exclusive adult sexual interest in pubescent individuals approximately 11-14 years old, and is one of several types of chronophilia (sexual preference for a specific physiological appearance related to age). It differs from ephebophilia, which is the primary or exclusive sexual attraction to individuals in later adolescence (generally ages 15-19), [ 1 ] [ 2 ] and differs from pedophilia, [ 2 ] which is the primary or exclusive sexual attraction to prepubescent children (with the prepubescent age range extending to 13 for diagnostic criteria). For anyone who has been molested, there is no way to express the amount of harm and damage this does to a person. To be fair, I haven't read or heard what Dawkins said. I hope someone is taking this out of context and that Mr. Dawkins doesn't defend any kind of pedophilia.

Does consciousness end with the death of the body
by givemejustalittlemoretime inapparently, the carvakas in anceint hinduism were materialists and skeptics, arguing that consciousness ends with the death of the body and that therefore we should take pleasure in this life while we possess it and practice compassion toward others.
they also argued that direct observation is the only certain way to know anything, and thus the existence of supernatural forces and realities cannot be established and must be rejected.

Do you think all men are rapists at heart if given the opportunity?
Absolutely not. Do you think they would?

Are you surprised that most men are sickened at the abuse of children?
No. What I am struck by is that the media portrays East Indian men to be very anti-female of any age. It's a good thing, the men in the crowd.

17 is horrendous! There are many cars that do ~60 around town (in the uk), there is only so much oil in the world :(
It is horrendous. That is why GM and Ford have had to get with the program. I had to buy my car with cash. I was limited as to what I could afford. Usually you have to buy Japanese to get this kind of mpg. We depend on our cars here. In the UK you have great transit options and then villages that have everything you need. You bike and walk. The USA is huge compared to England and the British Isles. Here, everything is far away, unless you live in a tiny town, then you're still going to have to travel to bigger cities for goods and good medical care.
As for there only being so much oil, there are new strides in alternative fuels.
