  Can we start a Secret Santa Recieved/Sent Thread?

  i'm worried because i sent a christmas card plus had a gift sent by ups over the internet about 7 days ago and haven't heard anything.

  i would feel really feel bad if my person didin't receive their gift or card.

  so i think we need to have an official post place.

  I got mine but the username was not on there so I don't know whom to thank.

  I just sent mine yesterday but I sent it priority mail and it is staying in the US so it should make it on time.

  someone told me that the wtbts has software for witnesses that blocks out "apostate" sites and enables them to track sites their children visit.

  this somehow does not ring true to me and i have dismissed it as rumor.

  i know there is software out there like that but is the watchtower publishing a version of their own and making it available to the publishers as this person said?.

  Camera Lens Help - Digital Rebel

  hey folks - can someone recommend a reasonably priced lens for my canon digital rebel?

  i have the 6.2 meg version.. i tried the canon 70-300 lens which was about $150, but it was "soft" when you zoomed in.. any personal experience in this arena would be welcomed!.

  I use an 18 – 200mm Nikkor zoom lens for my Nikon it is a very versatile lens. It is so versatile it is the only lens I use, wide angle and telephoto all in one. It is a little pricey but it does the job of two lenses so you save in the long run.

  when you will have been an exjw for as long as you were a jw?.

  i was raised in the jws from before the age of 10, and stopped going to the kh at the age of 31. i was involved with the jws for a total of 23 years.

  i will be 54 years old by the time i have spent more of my life as an exjw than i did as a jw..

  i've been shooting with a canon rebel xt for about a year and have acquired a few nice lenses.

  i've been thinking of moving up to a canon 5d.

  anyone here have experience with this camera?.

  While we are on the subject of photography I have a question.

  I use a Nikon D200 and I have about 4000 photos I shot in Europe, high-resolution, large format. I want to buy a printer that will give me the best possible prints up to 11 x 14, any suggestions?

  Also I have noticed that one can get prints from a photo shop like Cord Camera for a rather low price, is that because they are using low-resolution printers or poor quality paper?

  With the cost of ink cartridges I wonder which is most cost effective, buy a printer or just get your prints made?

  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  The term apostate is used freely on this forum, don't you find it offensive

  i find the term apostate used freely towards those who have left the org, by both witnesses hiding and also ex witnesses calling themselves that.

  don't you find that offensive.

  i have been out for over 6 years and the last thing i consider myself is an apostate.

  I don’t find the term "Apostate" offensive the way the Watchtower uses it. The Watchtower twists the meaning of that term just as they twist many other parts of the Bible.
