OK I got my name but the person hasn’t posted any ideas yet, I’ll keep checking.

I like T-shirts size XL. Maybe a T-shirt from some little known place or tourist spot where you live assuming you are not in Ohio.

I love coffee mugs, same with the mug something from a little know place or tourist spot.

If you are in Ohio, anything with the Ohio State Buckeyes on it.

I love Snoopy stuff, Snoopy mug or T-shirt would be great.

CD of Christian music the Gaithers are my favorite, I like any kind of praise and worship music.

I am an OSU usher so I was there at the game and we had the largest crowd ever at "The Shoe”. It was the most exciting football game I have ever seen. Right now Ohio State and Michigan are 1 and 2 in the BCS, if it stays that way it means a rematch.

I just don't think a rematch is in the best interest of college football and I don’t think it would be fair to Ohio State.

Let’s see that would mean we would have Ohio State and Michigan play a game to see who is the best, oh wait a minute we already did that.

why does the watchtower release at least one new book each year?

this practice started when judge rutherford was running the watchtower.. even back in the 1930's, when the books were being sold for about 25 cents a copy, a tremendous profit was being made just by the sheer numbers of books produced.

each edition of rutherford's books were printed by the millions!

Let’s face it the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society is a publishing company, and as with any corporation the bottom line is profit.

What proof is there that the JWs were chosen by Jehovah to be His people?

growth in numbers is not proof, other religions also have displayed such growth over the last 100 years.. material prosperity is not proof as other religions also have considerable wealth, both in cash, property and real estate.. printing the watchtower and awake!

magazines certainly is not proof!.

.this "new world scene " is from p 190 of the "bible teach " book dated 2005.. it is just a joke.

they have transformed their key belief into a cartoon type kiddies scene.

is there no thought of child safety?

If everything is perfect in their "New System" why would anyone need the protection of an umbrella it is not raining, and I wonder where they bought it. Maybe the owner of Kmart is a Witness and all of the Kmart stores survived.

I don’t post here often and perhaps there is more to this story then I am reading here, but I wanted to add my two cents.

As hard as it may be to comprehend your father is most likely doing this out of love for you. Being a Jehovah's Witness he thinks you will be destroyed at Armageddon and he wants to do what he can to save you.

It is not easy being a Jehovah's Witness parent with children that are non-Jehovah's Witness. Remember the Watchtower is teaching him that all outside the Origination are as dead. It is really hard for a parent to think of their children in this position.

I know it has to be hard for you when he calls but I would image it is very hard for him to make that call.

I am not trying to justify what your father is doing it has to hurt, and it sounds like he could work on his method. I am just trying to present the other side of the story since I was in your father's position before I left the Watchtower.
