And when people suddenly start to realise TTATT, do you know what is the first thing that they do?
They make contact with their disfellowshipped friends and family.
looking at all the narcissistic bull shit the watchtower corporation has been spewing out for the world to see about suffering of its members to as nothing worth being very concerned about and as jehovah magnificent be vindicated is much more important.
have they really gone off their rocker enough for a very sizable portion of membership to see their insanity and jump ship?.
i think definitely they are losing all respect from their internet savy members as their madness becomes obvious.

they have care homes in england and wales: wigan, leyland, blackpool, methyr.and one in canada http://www.jah-jireh.on.ca/.
these are not funded or subsidized by watchtower.
The Guardian, 22 August 2017
There is now compelling evidence that self-funded residents are paying higher fees and effectively subsidising state-funded residents sharing the same home, and that without this much of the social care market would not be viable.
That's correct. My MIL sold her home to pay for her care in a residential home. The cost was £800 per week. Once her assets fell below £23K, the state would take over her payments, however, the same residential home only charged the state £580 per week for non self-funders. BUT the home were not obligated to continue MIL's care as once she stopped being a self-funder, they would give preference to another self-funder and suggest MIL moved somewhere else.
for *australian* exjws who have stories of domestic violence, use email in this story to share.

I was on the receiving end of violence from my first wife. She was a born-in and had absolutely no boundaries at all once she became angry. Her whole family were that way inclined although she was by far the worst. Eventually, our neighbours who were also witnesses reported the matter to the elders having heasrd her screaming. They came to visit just as I was sporting some deep facial scratches. They sat me down and read me Scriptures about how I must keep her in subjection. Oh boy.

This outfit started up about 20 years ago. I believe the fella who came up with idea was named Delaney. The original idea was that it was to be a home for long-serving JW's in extremely good standing. My momma was flattered to have been told that she was on the short list and that if she became infirm, she would be provided for.
She visited a home once and left as fast as her theocratic little legs could carry her, totally disillusioned as I recall.
ok, this is from 2006. but someone on reddit mentioned it and posted a link.
my word, the micro-management and unnecessary lengths they go to to control:.

It's just one of those things that seems like a good idea at the time! https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/0e2b5a02-7b7e-4cad-8147-e8820cee55f8
these people won't state anything definitively, but here's an excerpt from the study article entitled "making christian marriage a success", in the august, 2016 watchtower.
it does make me wonder.. although the bible does not provide specific rules about the kinds and limits of love play that might be associated with natural, sexual intimacy, it mentions displays of affection.
(song of solomon 1:2; 2:6) christian marriage partners should treat each other with tenderness.
I've always regarded oral sex as being extremely affectionate, so that blows the JW argument about perversion right out the water.
thank you watchtower society.. thank you for converting my parents into jehovah's witnesses.
i really was getting bored with christmas and birthdays and the 5 meetings every week were so much more fun than boring old children's parties.. thank you for getting me out knocking on doors solo at age 10. much better than kicking a football around.
it was a pleasure to see the astonished looks on my school mates faces when i knocked on their doors, especially on christmas day.
Thank you Watchtower Society.

Thank you for getting me out knocking on doors solo at age 10. Much better than kicking a football around. It was a pleasure to see the astonished looks on my school mates faces when I knocked on their doors, especially on Christmas day. Being brought up as a social outcast is something everyone should try. Seeing my Dad leave off being the fun-loving party man and turn into a hyper-critical Bible puncher more than made up for the times when I would watch him making model boats and planes.
Thank you for encouraging my parents to move where the "need is great". That big old warm house near London Airport couldn't compare with living in a caravan in the depths of darkest Yeovil in the coldest winter on record. We really soaked up the blessings when we met up with the bunch of territorial prudes that made up the local congregation.
Thank you for finishing my education at age 15. With armageddon only 10 years away at most, what was the point of learning anything except for reading the Bible and the Societies publications. OK, so I'm now 71 years old with a minimal state pension, but, hey, who needs materialistic things when Everlasting Life is just around the corner!
Thank you for disfellowshipping me for refusing to shun my best friend. That really taught me something about Jehovahs witnesses. Every time my Mother shunned me in the street I thought ah, this is really going to bring me to my senses.
Thank you for the guilt, the sense of isolation, the didacticism of the elders, the boredom of the meetings and the futility of going from door to door.
And most of all thank you for the loss of my family.
Thank you thank you thank you.
And finally..thank you to ME for having the balls to get out of that awful cult, marry a good woman and bring up a family free from guilt and manipulation!
has anyone noticed this new song?
i think it's absolutely beautiful.
it's got a film score quality about it, with depth and feeling.
I recall the days when Kingdom melodies were more like military marches. I used to find this one really rousing once the first instrumental verse had finished.
