So-called "equality" isn't the same thing as freedom. IMHO, the whole marriage equality thang is just a government sop to those who can't tell the difference. You don't have to be free to be equal.

marriage"equality" survey, Australia.
by zeb inthe australian govt has set out a survey to see if people are in favour of changing the marriage act to include same sex couples.. hm here have received their papers?
the survey promises to be anonymous but has a substantial bar code at the bottom... anonymous yeah right.. the marriage act once said "two people" then a previous prime minister changed it to say "man and woman" all that is needed to amend this situation as required by the gay community is change it back again to "two people" there, done and dusted.. and millions of dollars need not be wasted on this survey which is not compulsory as is voting in australia.
can anyone here who still goes to kh tell us if this has had a ruling from the platform?.

New "Annointed" Brother In My Old Hall...
by pale.emperor ini've only just stopped laughing.. in my old hall there's a brother who's now claiming to be of the anointed.. he's 28.. i do wonder if he's doing this for attention, if he's awake and messing with them, or if he really is that deluded.
when i was in he was an ms. which surprised even me because only a year earlier than that he was "a bit of a lad", is rubbish at talks and relies on his elder uncle to get him out of trouble all the time.. i guess this now means he's get his pick of jw sisters.
he's been after the same one as the rest of his peers since 2014..

We had one of those turn up too. All the warning signs were there. Back in the day, us pios would make a living selling from door to door a gadget called an Allgrip. It was a muli-purpose handle into which could be inserted a paint brush or duster or sponge,,you get the picture. A bro in Southampton turned them out and charged us 10 shillings - 50 pence - each for them. We would sell them for a pound, doubling our money. This new guy however, on his first outing with us as we sold from door to door, reckoned we were making too much money and so sold his Allgrips for 15 shillings - 75 pence - each, thereby making half the profit that we did and lectured us on our money grabbing habits, although as I recall was unwilling to pay his share of our petrol expenses. So we dumped him after 1 week.
You've guessed it - within a year he had decided he was of the annointed. I always knew he was a pratt.

I loathed the meetings with a passion. When I first realised that JW's didn't have the truth, it was one of the initial delights of leaving for me. The first was the thought that I could have sex with whoever was up for it, the third was that I wouild never again have to go from door to door.

Another lie. This time from the UK Branch
by alanv inandrew schofield, a spokesman for jehovah’s witnesses in britain, states: “for almost 60 years, our administrative operations for britain have been located in london.
however, larger facilities became necessary due to the increased demand for bible-related literature and materials.

It's interesting to see how many English guys are being selected to play American politicians. In "Selma", Tom Wilkinson plays LBJ and Tim Roth the ghastly George Wallace.

by smiddy3 ini mean to say he is the creator of the universe isn`t he ?
so why would he use such a method that is subject to crumbling over time ?.

Voyager 1 & 2 40th Anniversary of their Lift Off
by smiddy3 infourty years ago nasa sent two probes that were to go on a mission ,voyager 1 and voyager 2 in two trajectories through our solar system getting what information they could from the planets they passed close by.. 40 years later they surpassed all expectations and are still sending signals back to earth.. voyager 1 has actually gone into what is termed interstellar space that is it has exited our solar system free from the constraints of our own sun having travelled some 13 billion miles from earth.
voyager 2 which was on a different trajectory will soon itself leave our solar system and go into interstella space having travelled some 11 billion miles from earth so far.. both of these satellites/probes carry messages from the world of humans / governments to whoever might find it (alien life forms ) if they exist and find these probes.. my attention is drawn to the bible account of the tower of babel which really couldn`t have been that high seriously.and yet jehovah god felt threatened by what man could achieve if they had one universal language ?.
what must he be thinking now i wonder ?.

Back in the 50's, JW's poo-pooed the idea of any form of space travel. They based this on the Scripture at:
Psalm 115:16New King James Version (NKJV)
16 The heaven, even the heavens, are the Lord’s;
But the earth He has given to the children of men.
