We had a guy in my old congo who couldn't keep his hands off his teenage daughter. He confessed voluntarily to my father who was the then PO. He appeared before a JC and seemed heartbroken. He then solved the problem of his attraction for her by cutting her hair off.

Funny News From My Old Congragation - Elder Fight!
by pale.emperor ini haven't stopped laughing since i heard this.
a pimo in my last congregation told me that an elder has been removed from his elder position.
apparently he grabbed another elder by the throat, put him up against a wall in the back room and punched him in on the nose... during an elders meeting on thursday evening after the meeting.. the congregation were running round like headless chickens wondering what to do?

I sort of agree. PE some of your posts seem a bit contrived! Oh! and what is a 'prick'?
just saying! It depends. If PE has a good memory, was maybe brought up in a PO's house and is a natural raconteur, then he'll have a whole bucketful of interesting tales and anecdotes. How do I know this? Well..... :-)

Arsene Wenger, you are so delusional you could be a member of the GB
by LoveUniHateExams init's fun times for us spurs fans.
we're playing great football, are sensible at the back and are beating top teams in england and abroad - teams such as man united, liverpool and real madrid.
we're in the qfs of the fa cup, are progressing nicely in the champions league, and are competing for a top four finish in the premier league.

I've only ever seen Spurs play once. That was at the new Wembley in the 2010 FA Cup semi-final. Need I say more?

Oh Boy! Beards are "stumbling blocks" again ... from Stephen Lett
by freddo inso this week's midweek meeting video about stumbling others has lett spouting and gurning rubbish again.. if you can't take the whole 9 minutes go from 5:50 to get the context and 6:45 for the "beard" mention.. https://youtu.be/ezv1ici5cwo.

I get so pissed off with these beard posts. Back in the hot summer of '76 I went 6 months without shaving and finished up with a face full of gingery bum-fluff. Eventually I shaved it off and my wife didn't even notice. So up yours, beard growers!

Im Writing An Ex-JW Self Help Book
by pale.emperor inwe all know waking up from the cult and trying to leave is a very scary and life changing experience.
for many it's traumatic and few find the transition easy.
we have to deal with families cutting us off entirely or keeping us at arms length at best, lies being told about us by the organization, ex members gossiping about us and finding ourselves in a world very different from what we're prepared for.. for this reason, i've decided to start writing a self-help book informing jws of what to expect when they leave the org.

Excellent idea, well done. Suggestions on creating a new friendship circle would be good. We're all sociable creatures; it's not natural to be isolated. Isolation is used as a punishment in some penal systems, over here we talk about sending someone to Coventry as a punishment. Enforced loneliness for breaking religious rules is cruel and heart breaking. Anything to help break out of that isolation is good. Apostafests are great for meeting fellow ex's. Joining a bowls club, darts team or similar can help rebuild social confidence. Just don't accept being alone and friendless as an option.

DF'd in '72 and immediately shunned by my parents. They finally acknowledged my existence after the rescinding WT that came out in the late 70's and didn't go along with them when they rescinded their rescinding.

in perth, western australia the following has occurred.. three "new" congregations have been formed!
