probably you noticed that my avatar is a photo of steve harris, bassist of iron maiden.

i have quite a few years that i started to listen this kind of music, even when i was in the jwland.

although it was a "no-no" in the borders of jwland, i knew a lot of brothers and sisters that listened and loved this kind of music.

Jehovah's Witnesses ARE Christians, why do so many ex JW's deny this?

jehovah's witnesses accept jesus as christ, the son of god.

they try, in their own way, to live by his teachings and imitate him.

they pray, read the bible and meet together regularly for worship.. i won't minimise any of the harm and damage they cause but for the life of me, i can't see how anyone can credibly deny that they are christians.. why do so many former jws have a problem with this?

Paranormal Warning

i've heard some weird stories coming from jws about the paranormal.

i know about the warnings about items that come from unbelievers -- those don't interest me as much.

what i am interested in are actual experiences in stories of the paranormal you've heard or experienced yourself.

I have heard stuff from JWs but not from those that it has been happening to. For example my (former) friend told me about a couple where the man is an elder an the wife is pioneer, and they had to move from their house because there was some kind of activity in it. True or not I have no idea, but the funny thing is I know they had african masks on their wall in their apartment before moving in to this house. I am not religious or spiritual any longer but I don't know if I would want to have african masks on my wall. Interesting coincidence though.
