Everything in the new creation is created through Jesus, not in the old creation.
"Look, I make all things new" really means what it says.
Jesus was not an angel before he was born as a human, read Hebrews 2:5, actually entire Hebrews ch. 1+2

to my surprise, i found this: .
the overlapping generations model is an economic model .... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/overlapping_generations_model.
if those people from wt are inspired, why can't they at least come up with something original .....
@ wallsofjericho,
Is that true? Because I never heard of the idea before the doctrine change .... did you read that info in some old magazines?

sir82,
I imagined something like this: worried that their investments and sense of business proved to be not so good, they searched the net for some economic knowledge, and they stumbled upon the overlapping generations economic model, and they thought, wow, we can apply this to our doctrine.
Maybe they even thought, the fact the wt is going down financially is happening so they would stumble upon this economic theory that gives them the new light that can keep them going for a few years now.

this is a question for ex jw's who have joined another christian faith group.
the purpose of my question iis to find out which christian faith group you chose after leaving watchtower and what convinced you to travel this new spiritual path you are on.
i am interested to know because i personally would like to find a genuine faith group where i can feel true christian liberty as i initially thought i had with the witnesses.
I joined Biblical Unitarians.
We believe that God's kingdom will come on earth, that Christ will come on earth and rule with true christians for 1000 years, that all true christians are anointed, that all will get immortality (not in the sense of spirit creatures, the jw's make a mess of that doctine)and actually, Jesus preached 2 things: The Kingdom coming on earth and immortality for the believers and the ones who accept His sacrifice.
Because we are not many, and are from different countries, we participate to meetings online, we have comunion once a month usually.
The ones in the US even meet some times a year. I live in Europe, and only have a group in a country next to me, have not been yet to a physical meeting, but will go, plus this year a couple of same faith will move to my country, in a near town, we will be 3 in my country :)
Also, in summer I will visit a sister who lives in europe, too, but in another country.
So we all few, but we have online meetings, speak on the phone with some, and some who live close, meet.
Here is the website where the weekly meetings are livestreamed:
so i guess i like to use this forum to kind of vent my thoughts to people who'd understand..but anyways, i realized i've been out six months now, and if you've read my old posts you'd know that i've made several "mistakes" so far.
i've been kind of promiscuous and have gotten hurt...but despite all that, i feel like these past few months have been the happiest of my entire life!
i finally know what boundaries are good for me and i just feel so..free!
I found my freedom, too, but in a different way. I researched, I read what others'interpretation of some passages are, I prayed and found answers. I see now they do not have the truth, and they are just false blind prophets, that block the way to God not only for themselves, but also for others.
I see the similarities between them and other christian religions that they so much criticise. Yes, they have some truths, but mixed with many false teachings, there is no big difference between them and others.
There is so much freedom in finding out there is no "organization" that you need to be a part of to be saved or in a relationship with God. God is alive, Jesus is alive and he promised us the aid of the spirit, what else do we need? what better help could we have.
This is the freedom I found. I do not asked myself for every little thing if it according to "the advice" of the "slave". I think for myself, I ask God directly for advice, and I trust my thinking and my intuition. I feel much more in connection to God.
pdf.
thank you atlantis / wtunderground !.
i read this blog post by a person i have no idea if she is still a jw or not, but it made me think and gain some new perspective on using the divine name.
please read it if you can, it will change your view!
and it totally devalidates the jw dogma that they are the only ones using god's name, no, they are actually orphans.
@ fukitol
you are right
@GodZoo
He is an amazing and wonderful Father for me and He is for everyone who wants Him as a Father. To the rest, He gives them the right to be on their own.

There is no logical explanation of the trinity!.
Check it's origin, and you will see where it's coming from.
God is One!!!
Even Jesus said: the most important commandment: Listen, oh, Israel, God, your God, is One!!!
