  JWs and legalized Marijuana

  i know this was probably covered before in some post, but i was curious.

  what is the jw stance on recreational marijuana use in the states where it has been legalized?.

  i would suspect smoking it, like cigarettes, would probably still be against the rules, but there are ways to use it that aren't damaging to your lungs.

  my girlfriends dog, a scottish terrier, is a wonderful lovable dog about fiveyears old.

  my girlfriend owns a hair salon and takes her dog with her and the dog greets clients very lovingly.

  Our dog hated a woman in the neighbourhood. No reason that any of us figure out. I think they can pick up on vibes. I do know dogs that don't like men.

  i live in california where pot just became legal for recreational use very similar to alcohol.

  my wife who is a very active jw has had her medical card for cannabis for a couple of years now.

  and i know several in our congregations around our area who are using it medically.

  I called bethel about it a couple of years back. They said to ask your local elders. I know people who took a couple of hits before meetings. Not a bad idea. Im guessing you would be DF without a medical card.
