Complete Schedule 6 if any of the following applies to the charity:
a) The charity's revenue exceeds $100,000.
b) The amount of all property (for example, investments, rental properties) not used in charitable activities is more than $25,000.
c) The charity has permission to accumulate funds during this fiscal period.

The Canadian WT is reporting less than $100,000 in revenue for 2015.

And...did you notice that of the five directors named, the earliest start date of their appointments was September 2014? All bright and shiny new faces.

It appears like New York has exerted their control and taken over all the assets for the Canadian Branch. I wonder if that is so the upcoming court cases that the WTS anticipates won't be able to seize the assets of WT branches.

I wonder who is listed as owner of all the WTS property in Canada.

Assets for the Canadian branch in 2014 were listed as being worth $91,645,960. And $148,806,787 in 2013.

And now they have zero in assets??

It seems like the Canadian branch has now been subsumed by the New York branch.

They always have. Who do you think established the bloodless surgery units to begin with? Many of the bloodless units have been founded by and are run by JWs.

One of the very first bloodless units was established by a JW - Jan Castro at Our Lady of the Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago back in 1987.

Closer/death/Funerals

hello all i am fairly new to this site even though i have been da since i was 16 years old i am now 35 years old.

i have had very little contact with my family since i left maybe a handful of times over the years.

i thought i put the past behind me and moved on i have 4 amazing kids of my own really supportive partner and great friends who have become my family.

Yes, if you decide to go see your father, it will bring up all sorts of extreme and difficult emotions.

However, on the plus side, you will be in the position of being the one with the power. Going to see your father could be quite healing for you - just to be physically in the room with him when he is powerless and you have all the power, could be very empowering for you.

He will be the one who is sick and without power - you will be the powerful one. You will have the strength when he has none. You will no longer be the child with the powerful father - you will be the adult with all the power.

Good luck. And don't forget that you are all grown up now - you are no longer that child without power. Walk into the room as the adult woman you are. Bravely and without fear.
