  Dear Brothers,

  We have received a large number of inquires at Bethel as to the possibility of donating gold crowns and bridgework(after death).Certainly we would like to commend all the brothers and sisters for putting kingdom interests first by thinking of us in this way.

  The first step in doing this would to be sure to mention this donation to the Society in your will.After extraction we designate the PO in each congregation to collect your loving donations.At the visit of the CO these donations will be collected and a tax receipt will be issued to your estate. The CO will then forward on this loving gift to the DO who will forward them on to Bethel.

  what could we buy the watchtower for this 90th anniversary ???.

  Hi Run Don't Walk,

  I'm afraid I must defend the WT> and Freddie Franz on this issue. At no time did THEY say that this generation would by no means pass away before the battle of Armageddon would be fought.They were simply passing on the PROMISES of JEHOVAH.(see inside cover of all older Awake mags.)

  If now Jehovah wants to extend further mercies to all mankind by delaying his promise who are we to question this loving provision.Indeed we are faithfully serving God for all eternity.If we must serve in this wicked old world for another 5,10 ,20,100 years what a small price to pay as we see more and more brain dead brothers and sisters taking a stand for the truth.

  For their 90 anniversary I suggest a plaque to hang on the wall at the GB that reads..."WE NEVER SAID THAT"

  I believe that the minute a good JW goes to the elders and lays a charge of "spiritual endangerment" the fix is in.The elders can read between the lines and recognize the "good dub" is looking for a separation or divorce.It is far easier to go with the flow than to investigate the matter.After all the non JW will soon be "bird food"while the good JW is contributing to the cash flow spiritual well being of the congregation.

  That is a good link and well worth the look.Indeed predictions of doom and gloom have followed mankind since the beginning.

  Many that make such predictions are doing nothing more than using their claims to control and manipulate peoples lifes to their own advantage.The WT is just one more in the string of false prophets. It just never ends does it??

  If your parents left everything to Watchtower, what could you legally do ?

  i'm sure this must happen, brother faithful and sister subjection, spend their whole life in jw land, have an average/good living, have three kids, both pass on, leave it all (or most) to the watchtower, would you have a case or any legal grounds in getting your money back.. definitely a case for johnny cochrane.. i'm a little worried my parents might do something this stupid.. any experiences or ideas .................

  I hate to depress you but I don't think you could do anything to contest the will esp. if the WT has a copy of the will.Try and fight them and you will find all their top gun lawyers against you.You might "win" in the end but it will cost you more than it is worth.You just have to look at the outcome of the child abuse trial in Canada to see how they really work.They would use the big club against you also so people would fear going up against them.MONEY is power and they have lots!!!

  The only faint hope you might have is if you have possesion of the ONLY copy of the will.If the will got "LOST" you would get a better deal if the legal system treated it as a person dying without a will.Depressing thought but there you go.

  maybe, but i figure 1/11th of $30 million is worth it!.

  i just bought (along with a few others from work) my first lottery ticket.

  the only problem is, if we win, our pics and names get published, and if a dub sees it, then it's curtains for yours truly.. i'm maybe the only person in this area's lottery history who is ambivalent about winning $2.72 million.. but i think i could adjust!

  My wife (STRONG DUB) had a panic attack over this very issue not long ago.I am in the habit of buying lotto 6/49 and super 7 tickets from time to time.I casually mentioned to my wife that if I ever won big the first thing the lotto corp wants to do is take pictures of the WHOLE FAMILY.She just about laid an egg on the spot worrying about it.Let me see....ONE CHANCE in 10 GAZILLION and she worries. LOL.

  My advice to you is if you do win big is first of all give some to me.After all good advice doesn't come cheap!!!

  OK...GOOD ADVICE...Find out who is going to be on the DFing committee and one at a time go to them and offer a BRIBE to let you off the hook.It shouldn't take more than $50.00 max each.$150.00 in total and you should be free to enjoy the rest.Be sure to secretly tape the bribing just in case some greedy little elder wants to come back for another quick $50.00 Then ENJOY!!!
