..... I was just texted that Justin got insulted so i'm jumping in..... The less he's liked by others is fine by me ... as it's now become a life's ambition for me to stalk him and deviously work my way into the spandex jumpsuit, so the less competition I have the better as it'll be a squeeze......
I agree about Queen LT and Satans little helper; I think for me they just had such an uncredible quality and so much entertainment value, though I think they lost it at times with some of the 8o's stuff- you had to admire them.AC/DC have that too- they're on in Hammersmith at the moment ...i'd have liked to have got there, just heard that they admire the Darkness, as Queen do too.The Darkness have the same musical quality, I really didnt think they'd be that good; but they were really tight and i'm going to have to go again.
i've been feeling really low lately and desperately needed a break... in steps my brilliant mate and gave me the best day out i've had in ages.
we went to covent garden for lunch, walked along the thames to the tate modern, crossed the millenium bridge heading for the tate modern.
we went to see the weather project which was a huge installation re-creating the weather inside with jets of mist that created a hazy effect.
It was incredibly surreal. The time seemed to stand still-you felt really relaxed but immobile, watching the pockets of activity above your head. A little like being lost in time.

We went to see the Weather Project which was a huge installation re-creating the weather inside with jets of mist that created a hazy effect. It was an incredible experience; everyone was lying on the floor and interacting with the installation as there was a massive mirrored ceiling which seemed to fire everyone's imagination. There were little pockets of activity going on as shaes were formed with bodies on the ceiling and little children ran around enjoying the surreal atmosphere.
Hope fully Gadget will post some pics...
Then we went to the Globe theatre and then wandered back..
I can't believe you travelled so far to look after me Gadget...thanks for the whole day it was brilliant.
Can we see the pics now??xxxxxxxx
i read this on another thread:when i asked if they knew my son had clinical depression, they said, well, even he says he feels better when he studies and goes to meetings, and shrugged their shoulders.).
i've been told this by my ex too, that when she attends meetings it makes her feel better.
anybody else noticed this?
(((Gadget))) why not ask her
1. Does she feel like she's making progress with her emotional state?
2.Is the lift from attending meetings temporary? If it is'nt lasting then it is'nt working long-term
3.How many more years of meetings does she think it will take to make her 'well'?
4.If she has specific problems that are making her feel low they need specific councellors to deal with them. One size does'nt fit all.
5.How can the meetings help if everyone there still depressed??
and get on messenger-im bored
