Colorfull babies.
by Stefanie ini had always wanted a baby from each race.
my thought was that when paradise came, we would be able to have any kind of babies we wanted.
was this weird or did anyone else feel like this?

''...neither will they marry or be given in marriage...'' ...did'nt it go something like that?
I thought they taught that there would be no new marriages for the resurrected...and that when all the earth had been ' filled ' there would be no need to keep procreating so out would go sex and the resulting babies.
.I always used to think it'd be a pretty sad paradise without sex or the existance of children..but we were told we'd have a life time to find new, amazing ways to fill our time..

Is anyone going to Glastonbury?
by reboot in.
decided on the spur of the moment to try and get some glastonbury tickets yesterday,as there were still 55, 000 left due to the system cock ups... had friends who stayed up til 5am trying on the friday night but none of us had any luck, mind you, with two teenagers and a child it's the equivilent of a small mortgage...did anyone here have any joy?
i've just had a phone call this morning to say i had sunday tickets , the ones you can get if you live in somerset...ive got a phone number if anyone want to try it... so; if anyone wants to meet up to have a shamanistic dance or two, share moment in the tipi field or help me negociate the toilet block..... i'll be around...

I have to post so I guess the ciders are on me lol .........
anyway. If any female living reasonably close to Glastonbury wants to risk it, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
Funkyderek; a friend of mine's talking a friends' bank statement as proof and doing it that way...that's pretty tempting...my daughter managed to get a weekend ticket ...I only got the Sunday tickets.but at least that means i'll not have to sit through Paul McCartney lol
.i'll be there 10 am til around midnight have to get the Sunday glastonbury bus there and back...; am meeting friends in the family field at some stage but thats all i have planned.....i'll pm you all my phone no. and if you want to do the same that'd be fun....we could meet up at the meeting tree.? or cider bus..or satans tent ?
im easy..look forward to it.Especially as Supergrass are now coming too.
Will we see the Bay City Rollers?
just seen that Eman; you never know there's usually a token joke that goes down quite well... -

What are you doing with your Sundays?
by Steve Egner inhelllloooo everyone,.
after reading this board for quite a while, i've finally been moved to post.
i was inspired by our trip to the dallas apostachilifest, where princess and i met lots of terrific people in various stages of exit from the j-ho's.

Welcome Steve...happy to hear you had such a good time at the fest...your look so happy...i'm really pleased for you all that you're out of the org together...
Sundays for me usually start with a lie in as my son tends to get in with me or jump on my 17 and 14 year old instead of me cos i told him they really like it lol...
I usually start the day with breakfast outside if it's nice with the Sunday papers.... start pottering in the garden..catch up on my art.....go running or cycling....take my son to the beach to practice on his body board..maybe the cinema with the kids if it's awful weather....but we've had a few weeks of the most wonderful heat lately...in the summer we like walking to a favourite country pub a few miles away in a beautiful village..full of all sorts from politicians to farmers....they often have a jazz band playing in the beer garden ..all the kids are running around....some locals arrive on horseback one with a cart..and the horse stands patiently waiting for closing time...after he's had a pint...the teenagers are lying on the grass and the adults falling asleep or reading or talking about what's in the papers...English beer gardens in the summer.. bliss.

Sad News...
by Sentinel inmy mom had her valve replacement and triple by-pass surgery today.
the operation lasted five hours, and they had just gotten her to her room at 8:00pm when she went into cardiac arrest.
the doctor tried everything, even opening up her chest and massaging her heart.

(((((((((((sentinal))))))))))) thinking of you...im so, so, sorry...( i lost my mother too ) .....be kind to yourself..(((((((remember to eat and try to sleep))))))) and I hope the fact that the doctors tried so hard will help you in the future.

Did I Do The Right Thing?
by Englishman inthis happened just about an hour ago.
i'd driven out of town to do some remedial work for a customer, so i was driving my battered old ford sierra.
coming back into wsm, i was a few hundred yards from a large roundabout and was positioned in the correct lane, ie, the centre one, and slowing to a stop.

((glad you're ok Eman)) im still feeling the effects from my rear end shunt 9 months ago..youre a lucky man..should you have been pushing cars though/ considering your recent probs? hmmm......
...I could'nt drive on my meds..but was'nt slurring and practically comatose,..you know a drunk when you see one...you did absolutely the right thing! The police's attitude is appalling!! He'll probably be out again tomorrow now he's only had a slap on the wrists...that's really bad policing.
