  i have a 22' sailboat in the marina.

  i took her out on saturday and spent about 8 hours on lake superior.

  saturday was an almost perfect day for sailing.

  way, way back in 1962, when i was four years old and my family relocated from harlem to queens, ny, our tuesday night book study, as it used to be called way back when almost universally in jw land, was conducted by a woman !!

  please don't think i don't remember correctly because of my young age at the time, but the sis.

  who conducted it is still alive, and i practically know her whole family.

  man oh man.. I remember ironing shirts for my first husband for meetings.. AND my boys...

  but dang it.. I also ironed work shirts for my (now recent ex) bf..

  sure.. that would be cool.. did you go to the halls in Duluth? Superior? Two Harbors? Cloquet??

  You know.. I haven't been inspired much for photography since I left Duluth.. My dream used to be when my first husband and I retired, we'd get a boat and enjoy our later yrs on Lake Superior.. nothing like a natural high as being on the water in Lake Superior

  I was just back in May when my dad died. I was supposed to come in July for a class reunion but with all the trips in recent months before his death.. I ran out of money for airfare!

  I'll be back for Christmas though
