are there any practicing satanists on the board?
i've been doing some reading about satanism and i'd like some personal experiences...it seems like it is less about god/satan and more about the self above all...am i right?
how satisfying is this way of living?
I'm not surprised the dictionary would put superstition above definition. People get an idea in their head and they won't let something like facts confuse them. Why take the word of people that have actually practiced it when you have Webster?

i tried the one in the newspaper the other day and just about solved it.
but thought i should start small and work my way up to get a better understanding of how it's played.. so i picked up a sudoku mag at target the other day.
it's an easy one and i'm really getting the hang of it and enjoying it.
I live in the other side of my brain, where numbers and arithmatic are another language. So for a LONG time I did not pick up anything to even try Soduku. Then one day I decided to give it a try. Without fail at first its very difficult. But the longer I play I find it easier and easier. I have heard that this type of mental stimulation is very good for your brain in terms of staving off mental decline like dementia and alzheimers. Don't know if they have any data on that, but they always say the brain is like any other muscle - if you don't use it you lose it. Its really a lot of fun.
Don't let the "math" scare you, I don't solve mine that way, I tend to do it more like a pattern or in a visual way. You never know, you may just like it.

In the Catholic Tradition, Mary, the Blessed Mother of Jesus, is believed to have been conceived without original sin. She is the greatest of all the Saints and a model for all believers to follow.
Except for one little item you forgot. They can't become priests. Hmmm wonder why if they have Mary as such a shining example? After all it was the Catholics that took the lead in the "witch" burnings in prior centuries. I hardly think they are any more of a good example.

The JW religion is now and has always been an old boys club. Only thing that changes is that the old boys get older and older.

I actually stole this joke from another religion. I saw it in a book and the 3rd man was a Christian Scientist. I thought it was way more hilarious about JWs. uh, hey guys, i was kinda wonderin' what you all think of a woman for president here in 2008?
i like the idea myself... in another thread i said "i noticed that i found myself more sorrowful for military funerals then i used to be, and i am finally starting to see christmas as an act of love, and not so much a disobedience to god's ways.
i often thought of how jesus took the pharisee's traditions and explained how they were evil, because of how they were being used.
Honestly I'm fine with the idea, but what about periods? Some women can get REALLY BAD... definately to a point where they are not suitible to make any major decisions. Just imagine a stressed out woman trying to engage in negotiations during her period.
But other than that, I don't see the big deal...

Are you shiHing me? We have women firefighters on their periods, women CEO's who negotiate on their periods, I am a purchasing agent and when I had them I negotiated during them. You must be joking or from the dark ages. This has never been a problem. Plus, the age requirement for someone to be president makes it very likely that the woman would be menopausal or post menopausal and not subject to them anyway.
