  I had been content for a while, live and let live ect., but recent events in my life have dredged up the lower areas of my inner compost heap. Between over zealous christian friends and aquaintences, a thread here--my reaction to which surprises me--and other minor events, it seems that it is time to turn the pile once again and let it all get aired out.

  i thought the above link provides a good argument for those who doubt "his" existance.

  sometimes we get so caught up in the "science" - we forget that with him "...anything is possible".. imo, i'd still believe due to my faith and evidence - there are the writings, personal experiences, songs, miracles, plus he has touched my heart..

  I plan on proving the existance of Fairies (the Tooth Fairy in particular) next.

  There's one in my town. He works at the dental office.

  the most remarkable fact - with a nod to the memory of m mauroy - is that the blood used comes not from men but from cows (and jehovah's witnesses, who reject human blood, really like the idea).

  This article is entertaining I'm sure. I wouldn't use it as an authoritative source for information however.

  There are a few chemical misconceptions and errors presented here.

  FREON is a trade name of a small class (yes 'That' word again) of chemical compounds. The fluorine atoms do not replace the carbon atoms. The fluorine atom-or other halogen such as bromine or chlorine-replaces a hydrogen atom.

  As for direct injection of hemoglobin, there have been trials, but they ran into troubles. In short, the byproducts affect the kidney's osmotic function.

  Thank you all for sharing your experiences or ideas.

  I have many questions, and will clumsily start here:

  Do you think 'perception' and 'intuition' are related?

  Princess, does a stray thought just cross your mind about someone, and you know from past experience what that means?

  Mysterious, do you think being a JW makes one less aware of intuition, due to beliefs ect.?

  SheilaM, if it is not too personal to ask, Why or What scared you about it?

  Do you think that your beliefs have anything to do with your intuition?

  I have other questions, but think that perhaps they may be to invasive. I am keenly interested in people's minds and how they work.

  I am also still working on the social ineptness that is part of the legacy of our past as JWs.

  I was reading Dansk's thread where he flipped off the PO (very nicely done ) and it struck me as an

  'Intuitive moment'.

  I don't know how it happened. I woke up ok but on the way to the town to do some shopping I felt my persona change for the worse. Claire was driving the car and on the way home, just as we were turning into our street, I spotted the congregation PO and his wife on the other side of the road. They looked straight at us with that "we're nice and smug" look.

  I think that most people have some potential, but just do not 'listen' or are not aware of their own minds or bodies to pick up on it.

  I do have a sense that I try and be aware of, so I do use it. No, I do not see dead people...at least not yet.

  Hi Ixta.

  I live in Moses Lake, but I do get over to Wenatchee at least twice a month for shopping and to visit friends.

  My best friend in HS now lives there with his wife, she is the phamacy manager at the Walmart.

  I take my mom to CostCo most trips, if you'd like to meetup sometime that would be fine.

  i've heard others talk about it but i've never been in the middle of it before until now.

  mom was peeved at me for not being very theocractic (not doing anything wrong, just not being dub enough) and she started talking about how it was with my dad.

  she totally spun a tale to me about how he slowly drifted away.

  did you leave the watchtower society and the true god ,too?.

  i believe that god still helps some of the of the ones still "traped" in the org.

  - god helped me greatly while i was still in.
