i have only been visiting this board for a couple months, but wow, how it has helped me!
thanks to everyone who has shared information and their stories, given advice, listened, reasoned, confessed, vented, cussed, challenged and supported.
i am formerly known as "hunyadi", but i made the decision to come out a few weeks ago.

how do you like your toilet paper?
.
Charmin. Double Roll. Over the top...
And I gotta say... 3% don't use toilet paper? Ever??? Who are these people??? Please tell me that I have no contact with them. That is honestly one of the most disgusting things I've ever heard of!

if john kerry wins the election: will you respect him as your president?.
will you support him?
How about the left wingers...will they begin to support Bush when he is re-elected?
Respect Bush, yes. I feel that any president deserves respect simply because of the office. So, regardless of who the president is, Americans should at least respect the office and the man (or woman) who holds it.
Support Bush, dunno. It depends on whether or not I agree with any of his policies. I will say this, I honestly feel that Bush believes he is doing what is best for our country. I also believe that 75% of what his administration is doing is not helping our country at all. I supported and voted for him as Gov. of Texas. Gov. George W. Bush and Pres. George W. Bush, IMO, are two totally different people. I'd like to see more of the man that was governor. I can support that W.

excuse me if i ramble...this is hard.
i have even avoided threads in the past where others have had to go thru this because i didn't want to face it.
guess i'm a wuss.
Bonezz,
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. Your dad sounded like an exceptional man, I know you'll miss him very much. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

if you knew that the policy was that there would be no more witchhunts, no more disfellowshippings or shunning of any kind, would you be tempted to go back?
The only reason I can think of to say "Yes," is so I can wear one of Hyundi's tshirts to the KH: "I was raised in a cult and all I got was this stupid tshirt!" I'd love to see the face of the PO if that were to happen!

can't seem to paste my words in here--will try below...
I agree, a billboard would be a great idea.
Where is the WTBS' next International Convention? IMO, that would be a prime location for the billboard.
I guess my only question would be, "Who gets to count the "time" for the billboard?"

i'm new to this forum.
actually i've been a lurker for awhile.
posted on sassy's call to the newbies.
Hi Marie67,
Welcome to the board. I hope you learn as much here as I have. It is a great place with a lot of great people here to offer you support.
As my gramma used to say, "We'll treat you so many different ways, you're bound to like one of them!" Hmmm... or was that Dolly Parton?
CountryGuy
i am very new to the political process and this year will be the first time i enter a voting booth, but something has been on my mind of late and i hope you all can help me sort it out.. if george bush had been a democrat and from day one of his presidency had done everything exactly as he has done would most of the republicans be supporting the war in iraq?
would most of the democrats still be against the war?.
or would each party fall in line with most republicans against the war and most democrats for the war?.
Unfortunately, most people, certainly most politicians, are in lock step with their parties. The Democrats seem a little more so than the Republicans, but not much.
I agree with Pork Chop. Maybe one day, we'll be able to get past this party loyalty thing. Like if Kerry chose McCain as his running-mate. That would cause the die-hards in both parties to pass a brick! I'd love it. I'm going to pray for that to happen.

Pork Chop,
Now you have me wondering, what in the world could you say that would make me think you were coming on to me? Honestly, we know that just isn't going to happen. I'm a happily married man.
To answer your question, under the rules of etiquette, you could address me as MISS or MIZ Euro Faggot Commie Punk under two circumstances: a) If I were a drag queen or b) you were also a homosexual. However I am not a drag queen and I'm not getting a blip on my gaydar from you (that means you're straight), so MISTER works just fine.
Thank you very much for asking. In the future, should you ever wonder about gay etiquette, please don't hesitate to ask. I will be more than happy to assist you.

i think awhile back i might have asked this,,,,,,,but it was way back and so many new ones here that i am just getting to know, and ones who came in here while i was not here as much.
there may be a thread on this in the last recent months, i am not sure,,,,if so, if there are any new ones who want to tell why they choose their user names,,,,,please do.. i will tell you why my name is lyineyes,,,,,many have asked me that here lately.
I simply grew up in the country. CountryGuy has been my AOL screen name for almost five years. When I signed up here, I just "brought it with me."
