Actually, all joking asside. I've been thinking about this since my Mother-in-Law's funeral this summer. I think I'd like to have either Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World" or Tim McGraw's "Please Remember Me" played at my funeral.

I wonder if they once read an Awake! article about marketing??? Surely the college degree didn't have anything to do with them being good at their jobs!The newspapers do this so as to increase sales. Sneaky aren't they?not sneaky that's good marketing!
have any of you ever feel abandoned by "friends" because you dont associate (congregate) with them anymore?
there is a couple of 'friends' that i haven't talked to for about a year, (because i dont go to the meetings).
i dont have anything against them or the congregation.

Sorry you also have to go through this. My experience is that most of the JWs who shun me, I'M THANKFUL! The last thing I want to go through is the fake bull**** of "We miss you." "Come back to Jehovah." "Blah, blah, blah!"
However, there are a few people that everytime they avert their eyes or walk right past me, it does hurt. The first time it happened, it tore my heart out. Now, I know the game. They know the game. We go about our business. I just hope that my friends aren't as torn up by it as I am. Unlike most of the JWs, I still care about my friends and don't want them to be hurt by their perception of my actions.
Here's hoping that you make new friends very soon.

Has anyone ever heard of this company called The National Team? I have a friend from high school who is involved with it and he's wanting me to get into it. It seems like a good program, but you know.... if it seems too good, it is.
I've done a bit of research, but haven't found anything bad about this company. Any feedback would be much appreciated.

tonight i am going for a walk with my dellpod on and listen to some tunes.. come home and watch a movie.. tomorrow, i will finish painting some little wooden animals i bought to put on stakes in the front yard.
then pottery class.. then dinner with friends at a thai restaurant.
then mitch comes home for one night of snuggling.. sunday.
This is mine and Wayne's anniversary weekend (seven years together, six married). We're going to a movie in a little bit, then home for a quite night.
Tomorrow, I'm surprising him by taking him to Tunica, MS to go to the Gold Strike. We're going to go see Balagan, which they advertise as a cirque-style show. The rest of the time we're just going to be together and hang out in the casino, probably at the nickel slots!
Then Monday we'll come back home and get back to our normal lives.

mine is a lab/boxer mix.
she is about 8 months now and thinks she is a lap dog!
she is as graceful as a cat, and can be on my lap in about a second with no notice.
My boys are the best.
EMMETT is a labmation. Part black lab, part dalmation. He is very hyper and sleek.
DEOGIE is a rott/yellow lab mix. Face of a lab, but the body of a rott. He's getting to be an old guy and has gone blind in both eyes.
BITTY is short for B!tch Kitty. He is one of the meanest cats I've ever known. When we moved in July, he didn't like it and as Wayne was carrying him into the new place, he attacked Wayne and jumped out of his arms. He ran off and we couldn't find him, but we put food out in hopes that he would come back. Well, something was eating the food and we have driven up a couple of times and found him in the garage eating, but he always runs away. He seems happy to be an outside kitty. And if he's happy, I'm happy.
Both my dogs are my world and I don't know what I'd do without them. Bitty, was his own cat and only wanted to be around us on his terms, which really wasn't that often.
