  The elderly sisters are at it again.

  awhile back, about a year and a half ago, when i was starting to wake up, i explained to my mom that when the circuit overseer is in town, they schedule shepherding calls after lunch, not because they care, but because they dont want to work door to door in the hot summer or cold winter.

  and they know that a prepared call means some nice hot chocolate and cookies or some ice cold tea and snacks.

  i remember her looking at me kind of funny so i ended the conversation and left it at that, and never brought it up again.

  We have heard several of the older ones actually say that they feel as if they don't matter and have been put out to pasture. Many of these older ones are VERY wise.

  I really, really like these ladies, even though I have never met them. Smart ladies!!

  As Matthew 7:16 mentions, "By their fruits, you will recognize them." People ARE starting to scratch their heads over the actions of some of these "spiritual men." Keep up the good work WT boys!

  WE NEED MORE MONEY! (Letter sent to Mexico re: JW Broadcasting of May 2015).

  i don't know if they're making similar arrangements in other parts of the world but below you will find the letter (and the translation attempt) they're sending to all the congregations in mexico and central america asking them to modify their september 21 and september 28 service meeting programs.. after watching jackson's gold apple watch and lett's pinky ring one can only assume they are a bunch of brazen, shameless and greedy bastards!.

  the letter has already been uploaded at the spanish forum and you can find it if you click here or see the attached picture.. the translation "attempt" is as follows:.

  august 1, 2015. to all congregations.

  Paint, Barney, and Jehovah

  i made a quick run to lowes to buy some paint and ran into a brother.

  he is one of those elders that is very, very, petty.

  if he drops by your house unexpected and notices that your kids are watching one of the star wars movies, he will counsel you for allowing your kids to watch any movie that has to do with war he will then make sure you are not recommended for any privilege.

  A Green Handshake

  i just learned that sometimes people give "green handshakes".

  is this the same as bribing your way up?.

  We never gave the Green handshake to a CO. We were always considered "losers" in the Congregation. My husband never wanted the priviledge of Elder or MS. I never pioneered. Our kids are quiet, never wanting to "shine" in the KH. The CO (not one of them) ever gave us the time of day. They don't pay attention to the "losers" in the hall. Oh well....their loss.

  If this cult focused on retaining it's members, maybe it would not be going through all the struggles it is now. It always shocked us on how much time they spend trying to bring new ones in while letting others who have been around for years, walk out the door. Incredible!

  My parents sent the elders after me

  i stopped regulary attending meetings and going in field service in january.

  the elders have left me alone for the most part i think because of my jw husband.

  last week my parents came over and told me i needed to come back to meetings.

  There solution to EVERY problem is meeting attendance, field serve us, etc. They just don't get it. Once you know TTATT there is NO going back. They just can not get that!

  It is a good thing that your marriage is more stable. You can control the Elders and your parents. YOU are in control. You DO NOT have to tell them ANYTHING.

  We have been out for almost 3 years. Our family/friends still to this day do not know why. In fact, they do not really know that we are OUT. It actually is a fun game to play.

  It was VERY loving of your husband to take you to a movie and dinner. If you play your cards right, you will have many more dinners, movies and most importantly FREEDOM! You may have to sacrifice your family and friends to get there but it is so worth it. Hopefully, your husband will remain on your side.

  Nearly Killing My Mother Wasn't Enough !

  as some of you might have read last week, my mother had extremely low hemoglobin and without it, she would have died.

  i have somehow managed to bring her to reason and accept the transfusion.

  it saved her life.

  It really is incredible how quickly they want to take care of the situation. They just can not wait to make that announcement. I would let them know that they need to put it in writing why she is being DF'd and they need to copy or send a certified letter to your families attorney. See if they have the ba**s to move forward with their bullying. I wouldn't stand for it. If they know they can bully you, they will. Push back. Your poor Mom has been through enough. Her health is the MOST important thing right now. Keep us posted.

  Insights from the field ministry ....

  i did, because she is one of the 2 people who contacted me since i am not attending the meetings.

  and i thought it would be a good opportunity to tell her about some of the things i researched.

  I wonder how many people just take the literature to get the JW off their doorstep and then trash the literature. Easy way to get rid of them.
