No more reporting time for field service!!!

so at last i am in my next step of my fade, this month is the first month i did not turned in any hours.

i received a text from our group leader an ms & i told him i didn't have any to report, then of course it got bumped up to the elder & i text him back i have no hours to report for december.

i came to this decision when reading many posters here about the yearbook stats, i do not want & refused to contribute to this organization "boosting" numbers for their glorious purposes, after the rc in australia they do not deserve for me to give them a "production" report of what i do for god, no more.

Even in the justice system you have Miranda rights. You have the right to remain silent. The Elders tell you a Judicial committee is not a legal hearing, therefore you can not have your Attorney present. So I have the right to remain silent in the justice system but not during a Judicial Committee or just a visit from the local Elders? I DON'T THINK SO!

We have had a couple of people (elders) stop by our home. We DON'T answer! They didn't call and were rude showing up unannounced. I don't fell rude not answering.

NO ONE knows how my spouse and I really feel. We talk to each other and keep our dealings with others up beat. "We are doing great. Never better!" We are hoping that we get DF'd so when our family asks why we can tell them. We don't know why. We have heard of cases where people get DF'd and they hear it through the grapevine. Anyone else experience this?

Wow Hermit, that is quite an ordeal for a little boy. I am so sorry you have had to deal with this for so long. It is not surprising (it very disturbing) that the girl who stomped your foot or her family did not apologize. It's the JW way.

The best way to handle it is:

Don't answer your phone. Screen your calls and texts.

Don't answer the door.

If you bump into anyone in public, tell them you are doing GREAT/never better. Make sure you smile. Remember, you are still the same wonderful person you were before you left (minus the cult). If they push it, just tell them you appreciate their concern and if you need them they can give you their # and you will call them. If they continue to push it and ask intrusive questions, just tell them you do not feel the need to discuss that with them. If your rude, like me, just tell em it's none of their business.

Look like you are ecstatic and it will drive them crazy. JW's are programmed to interfere in your life and when you look down and depressed it's "because you left Jehovah."

You owe these people NOTHING!

but instead of retaliating, maria calmly continued on her way.

How far will they go?

i've been drawing back lately and looking at the big picture going on in the org, somewhat like slimboyfat has also been doing, but i am wondering about different possibilities.

so the current gb has modernized recently in various ways.

they have done a strong and sudden about-face regarding the electronic world, from viewing the whole thing suspiciously and condemning bros. use tablets from the platform to suddenly embracing them and causing the r&f to do so to such a degree that old ones are spending hundreds of dollars to buy devices that they have no clue how to use; they have heavily embraced this media for their message, very much like the churches have been doing for years, especially with their jw broadcasting and their caleb and sophia animations.

I believe they will make major changes to the Elder arrangement or eliminate it all together. They will still have "spiritual men", at a local level to handle meetings, collect money, etc... The elders bodies as they exist now! Will be gone or modified just like the TMS.

The interesting thing about this statement is the same thing can be said about how my spouse and I feel about the GB/WT. It is apparent that the GB/WT needs donations and we in fact don't care. We are gone and never been happier! They will never receive another dime or a second of our time...NEVER!

So many new posters on here. There are more people than you can imagine that are starting the look behind the curtain. You are correct, you can never forget what you see. That's a good thing.

Welcome back. As Angus Stewart said during the Australian Royal Commission, this is a captive organization.

It is hell to "fake it." I think if you are patient there may be more leaving out the door, which may give you the opportunity to make your exit.

This is a great place to vent and feel like you are not alone. We are here for you. This site has been great therapy for us.

my strange bethel courtship started with me trying to meet mike stillman's sister, even though he worked in the ink room next to my elevator, we were not good friends, he was just a little to "country" for me........and on the self-righteous side too.
