  Your feelings for the former travelling overseers

  during our wt life we met a good number of friends involved in the circuit and district work.

  i am sure that we share the same experience and that we remember fondly some that we caring, loving and generally interested in the brothers.

  at the same time we might remember others that were arrogant, selfish, abusive and oppressive.

  I can't recall EVER a CO taking an interest in the average/lowly JW (unless they have money). If you weren't a Elder, MS, Pioneer or someone with a title they couldn't give a rats ass about you.

  Some come in the congregation with their list of foods they can't eat and their demands. I have demands too but I have to work to pay my bills and have a family to raise. No time for demands in everyday life.

  They latch on to the ones who have money, pick up the dinner tab and an open bar. Poolside would be nice too. We've seen that first hand.

  Do todays Jw's care at all about Russell and the pyramid?

  just wondering, as i will be visiting active jw family in ohio in a few weeks, do you think it will be worthwhile dropping it into a conversation, about the wtbts pyramid near his grave, or try some other topic to try and wake them up.

  i was never baptized and don't really care if they get upset or not, but it is only a day trip from ohio to pittsburgh, and thought it would be fun if they denied it, and then drove their to see it for ourselves.

  Some may but the majority will just have some catch phrase and keep bobbing their heads up and down. They do this in so many things.

  Why the Deficit at the Circuit Assembly?

  have you ever wondered why there is always a deficit at the circuit assembly?

  did you realize that before the program begins, the circuit is already in the red?

  many of the friends thought they were paying for the use of the building and covering the costs of the utilities, etc.

  A fresh start

  after the worst introduction i could ever make on the forum i would like to reintroduce myself and make a fresh start on the forum and hopefully over time i will be able to redeem myself.

  i have changed my user name which was over dramatic and ridiculous in the cold light of day but for transparency and to show i am not trying to hide anything i have adapted the original name and it now has a more positive feel.

  after reading a lot of posts on this forum i am feeling more optimistic about my future.

  Narcissistic personality disorder and the dubs

  i've recently started to research npd.

  having identified several of my family members as having it ( no wonder we're such a ¿***#@**!!!!

  up family)there's huge similarities between the borg and individual members of the cong as well i've noticed.the over whelming love of self, the need to believe in a grandiose fictional version of themselves, always striving for more power and wealth, being unable to stand any criticism, and then there's the manipulation of the victims too.i could be wrong i guess but what thoughts do you guys have about it?

  Best advice Wing Commander. If you research ND, even the experts say if you come across others who are truly narcissistic...run like hell. You can not help nor change them, they are toxic.

  I also did extensive research in ND a few years ago. I worked with a person who was 100% Narcissistic. It is truly something to observe.

  The upper echelon of the JW organization is unbelievably narcissistic! Anthony Morris' narcissism shows every time he opens his mouth. He is smug and insulting and I believe he has caused a tremendous amount of damage to so many. I think Anthony and his gang are doing all the dirty work for us.

  This trickles down through the ranks. There are some good/genuine people in the org, but always keep in mind that they are brainwashed to practice shunning. This is not normal behavior and is the worst form of bullying. I am no longer surprised by people's behavior. Our life has moved on but we are fascinated by how all of this is playing out.

  to me honestly this would of been prohibited 10 years ago, but now every dub is obsessed with this website, it's everywhere even a damn iphone cover... ooh they don't approve of idolatry ooh no they don't accept cross veneration thats bullshit to me!!!

  its getting to a point that they are venerating this website (company logo) it's their version of the cross.
