  Underlying Resentment Among the Members

  most of us here have seen and experienced the judgmental attitude among jw's.

  the pioneers look down on the publishers.

  the appointed men look down on the non-appointed men.

  I agree...

  We noticed some uber dub (pioneers, need greaters and bethelites) family members making snide remarks to other members of the family (JW's) that are working full time and have families. Especially to the ones who have received a higher education and have some possessions that they have worked hard for (homes, cars, etc.). The uber ones seem to have some resentment towards the ones who chose a different path. Are they jealous? I don't know if anyone else has noticed this as well.

  Young men who come out of Bethel and serve as Elders in the local congregation seem to be pissed at the other Elders in the congregation that have gone to college, purchased homes, cars, etc. They seem like resentful little brats.

  Hang in there.. It has to be tough. My heart goes out to you. We have a hard time even driving by a Kingdom Hall, makes our hair on the back of our necks stand on end. We are both born ins. Most of our family are uber dubs.

  The lack of love is what woke us up. Once we started doing research on the religion we were raised in, it was all over for us. It's amazing how much we didn't know. No wonder the GB warns the JW's rank and file not to read anything negative. They have a lot to hide and a lot of blood on their hands.

  "Whispers, self-rightousness, and judgement." It's the only thing the JW's are really good at. lol

  i need some information found in a watchtower that i can't seem to find in my library.

  today, the watchtower teaches that the governing body is the faithful slave.

  Maybe the light will keep getting brighter on their stance on blood transfusions. How many will die before their light gets brighter?

  I believe this is the main reason a large number of JW's are on anti depressants. So many in our family did not prepare for this system to still be here. They are pushing 70 and still working hard physically, with NO end in site.They have no retirement savings and nothing to fall back on. There children never received any higher education, so they are also not prepared for a long road a head of them and they can not help there aging parents. Sad!

  in just few months and after attending all of their meetings and giving them a nice show, i'm back to the org!!!

  (what a relief-sarcastic laugh) .

  A few years ago the Elders met with my Husband and told him that he needed to get more hours in Field serve us. They said, "we really would like to USE you." I found it amusing...the word USE. That is what this cult does, uses you and then spits you out.

  within those thirty years i have built myself a life and slowly learned to cope with the shunning from family and friends.

  This is why I HATE damn Facebook. The JW's use it as a weapon. How sad is it that we get feelings hurt over some idiot that "unfriends" us.

  Sorry they did this to you. I had a bad experience a few years ago with Facebook. I immediately deleted my Facebook account and never went back.

  Let's hope, over time, all of this crap hits the media. When my spouse and I decided to fade, we knew full on what we could and should expect from family and "friends." Hopefully the "loving organization" will be exposed for what it really is.

  If I/we receive anything like this from family or "friends", I/we will reply that that is their decision and I/we will go along with it BUT if they ever should need anything they must remember that I/we are dead to them and dead people can not assist the living. Two can play the same game. Good riddance to them! Is it hurtful...yes. It should not be this way.

  The Governing Body has a lot of blood on their hands.
