Her mother stated, " the meeting should have never been allowed." It infuriates me that these idiots interrogating her ever allowed this meeting to take place. Myself, or anyone in my immediate family will NEVER meet with any of these so called "spiritual men." NEVER!
Watchtower has A LOT to answer for.
i left the organization.
my awakening was this month of july, the first week of july.
i couldn't answer my own questions about the organization or the doctrines, i couldn't understand the prophecies, i couldn't figure quite well what i was feeling.
Welcome to your freedom!
the longer you are out the more you see how a cult steals all your time, resources and energy.
we wasted so much because we were witnesses!
👎.
Yep...would have more in savings for retirement. Thankfully we got out in time to hopefully save some money. Our older family members are screwed, living off of social security and wondering where their paradise is.
in the june 2004 kingdom ministry, the self-appointed "faithful slave" published this spiritual exhortation as a q&a item - "the congregation book study—why we need it.
three years later, in 2007 - in the august kingdom ministry - the same "slave" issued this reminder - "how the congregation book study arrangement helps us.
but surprise, surprise - within a few short months the "slave" decided that jehovah had had a change of heart, and now decided that the book study in homes - with all of its alleged benefits - was superfluous: .
In our area. I was almost impossible to get someone to open their home for a book study and then for Saturday AM service. Also, some neighborhoods were starting to complain about the parking situation 2 times a week.
win my first post i introduced you to tweedle dee and tweedle dum, ( surprise elders visit ).
well last sunday night i got phone call from t- dum, he informed me that t-dee was listening in, no doubt practicing his short hand.
t-dum went on to say how he was concerned that we were making the biggest mistake of our lives, yada yada.
That was great! Nothing like watching these asshats sh@t themselves. I've toyed with one of these guys as well....it IS fun!
These guys have the noose tied and ready to shove the chair out from under you. It really irks them when they can't "getcha." Great job!
amazing how cults end up looking so similar.
have you ever wondered how budhist monks and catholic monks look and behave so similarly?
or why mormons and jw religion have so many parallels?.
Here is the purpose of the event sponsored by JW..Org. Promoting education?
We are a state-chartered, not-for-profit organization that is dedicated to enriching our community by promoting education and South Florida agriculture while showcasing and rewarding youth achievement. We accomplish this with your kind support and by producing a first-class event, The Fairâ„¢, that provides guests of all ages magnificent entertainment. Our fairgrounds also provide quality facilities and resources for events, shows, concerts and festivals all year-round. We are also home to the Tamiami Youth Basketball League and the Miami-Dade County Parks, Recreation & Open Spaces Department's Summer Youth Camp.
i've noticed that some elders will insist on getting a special bethel speaker for memorials, special talks, or sometimes for no reason at all!
i believe they are trying build connections they can use later, but who pays for it?
the congregation does and as a former account servant i can tell you airfare isn't all that cheap.
We have a family member who wines and dines these people, all expenses paid. You should see the look on his face when they are around. He looks looks like an adolescent boy who has a crush on his teacher. It is so funny to watch. My spouse and I have a good laugh. We don't even treat our "worldly" bosses that good.
i'm sure i am not the only one to have heard this come out of the mouths of my loved ones.
it's a very painful thing to hear, especially when it comes from the people like your own parents/family.
even after i've been told that, they would say "we'll just continue life without you.
I was told this recently as well. It really wasn't too shocking because I expected it. I used a favorite JW line, "well, I'll leave that in Jehovah's hands." If he chooses to do this than I will own it. I made the choice and if that is what he chooses, well so be it. In my opinion, if God wants to destroy me because I don't attend the Kingdom Hall anymore but me and my family are loving, kind and compassionate people, then I guess I really don't want to worship a God so cruel.
This is a disturbing cult that has a lot of decent people that can be manipulated by fear. What a sad way to live your life...in fear. WT knows it works, that is why they are ramping up the fear in all the assembly parts and on Jay dub ya dot org.
hello to all, so i did want to talk about this topic because i think it is very important to me.
i have a grandfather who faded several decades ago.
he occasionally attends an assembly and the memorial but no longer attends meetings or goes on field service.
