  it now appears that the wt can df you just by marking you.

  this happened to my me and my wife a few week ago.

  a marking talk was given at the mid-week meeting in which no names were mentioned yet a detailed description of the "offending bastards" was delivered so that there as no doubt who this "pond scum" might be.

  Part of a quote I remember...."when a toxic person can not control you, they will control how others see you."

  So true! I have had a family member (uber JW) try and do this to us. My attitude...who cares, I don't want to be around those ones who believe others sh*t anyways. We are spending our time in a more productive life after Watchtower.

  When you bump into still in JW's who shun you, act as happy as you can be. Smile and act happy, that is what they hate most!!! It really pisses them off. After all, they are stuck in a cult, NOT ME!!! lol

  How Are Ex Elders Treated In The Congregation?

  A close friend of ours was removed as an Elder a few years ago. He definitely was treated differently. He admitted it. He is now back in and all is well in Watchtower land.

  Do they take the GB seriously?

  so this is an honest question that i have been thinking about for some time.. do regular jehovahś witnesses in other countries (other than the usa) take the governing body in new york seriously?.

  i mean, i cant help but wonder about the publishers in japan, or south africa, or mexico, or new zealand, or even the uk, or spain, or italy...... or russia?.

  not you and i (we know what you think of them), but the regular jwś...... do they take these american buffoons seriously?

  Yes... they WILL disappear in "the twinkling of an eye" when the heat is on and they need to pull the rip cord of their golden parachutes. Hundreds of corporate high ups have done this over the years when the spot light shines on them. Cowards always run!

  Not sure but we know a lot don't know even a small portion of their very own religion. Most of our family do not even watch the monthly broadcasts. We know more than they do and we are OUT. I think they just like to be told what to do and what to believe. It's a comfort zone!

  Couldn't agree more PE. We even tell family members not to use that one before it even comes out of their mouth. We tell them, we DON'T buy it! It's a cop out!!!!
