  Why can't you get to know one another now? NOW! Why does a relationship have to be based on religious beliefs? Like others have said, this message is just sad. We all know that JW's are being directed from the hateful 8, in upper state NY, to reach out to the inactive. I mean, after all, we must all be miserable, right? WRONG!!! They are capitalizing on a bad situation/virus (as usual). They are using the inactive and DF'd to put their time in. They can not go door to door or sit at a lonely cart. YOU, are now their "territory." TRULY SAD!!! I'm sorry for this, I truly am.

  exploiding children for jw.org.. remember i was a young child, 40 years ago i wrote an article about the bible, from watchtower and awake sources.. still wish i never did.

  It's all about getting inactive, DF'd, DA'd and Non JW's to the Kingdom Hall. Nothing wrong with what the kids are doing but it's all about converting others to the religion. Get them to JW dot borg.

  I constantly am seeing people in our area, feeding others, delivering meals, working hard and putting themselves at risk. I have several members of my family that are 1st responders.

  My "worldly" friends have checked on us. JW's? Nope, just an quick how ya doing, followed by invitations to the Memorial. Their agenda, is to get you BACK INTO THE KINGDOM HALL. When you say no, you hear nothing back from them until there is a special talk or WT event. We won't hear back from family until next year at Memorial time. That is NOT a genuine love, just an agenda to get you back in.

  So glad you did not listen. We are watching our still in JW Elderly family members struggle financially. Some are still working hard labor jobs in their 60's and 70's. It IS taking a toll on them. They still believe this stuff. They were told in a 1969 publication that they would not graduate High school. The anti education rants from WT has put so many people in a VERY bad situation financially. WT has A LOT of blood on their hands.

  We can see the resentment on our families faces. They just won't admit it to us. They don't want to put a "feather in our cap." We have A LOT to say to them about the past "advice" WT has given them. We are VERY vocal about it. Not matter what, they see it. Everyday is a struggle for them. I hate it for them. My kids won't be put out into this world without being able to survive financially.

  Yes, I feel the same way. You don't want us in your lives? You're not welcome! It's their loss. Don't come around only to put your time in. Don't come around to "save my a**! Don't come around to invite us only to a Memorial or Special talk. Don't come around because you are old and broke and NEED me. Come around because you love me and my family and want to be a part of our lives. Otherwise, good riddance to ya!!!

  My ExElder Best Friend Has Coronavirus

  this has been a horrible month.

  my best friend’s wife just called to tell me that my friend had to be hospitalized due to severe coronavirus complications.

  he has severe pneumonia, is put on a ventilator and is in a coma .

  My D.I.L.was informed by her mother ,her father died this morning.

  my lovely d.i.l.

  heard of her fathers passing this morning.both her parents and siblings have shunned her for over 22 years.. about 1 week ago her mother notified her by e-mail that her father had cancer and was not expected to live much longer.of course they had known for a long time that he had terminal cancer.. last week my d.i.l.

  did ring her father and spoke with him.. the only other time they contacted my d.i.l.
