by Theburstbubble inat our recent rc i was advised by a sister who was an attendant that they have been advised not to be able to give brothers directions as this should be dealt with by the brothers.
apparently at the pre-convention attendants meeting, the sisters were asked to stay behind.
this was when they were given the news that the brothers should deal with brothers.

Jehovah's people are the happiest people on earth!
by Coded Logic inso this afternoon my roommate and i decided to go grab some dinner from the local chipotle and, as we live only a short distance from the franchise, we decided it was a good idea to walk.
little did i know that the j-dubs district convention here in sacramento was just getting out (the auditorium is literally smack in the middle of downtown and its attendees have to park in garages scattered a couple blocks away in every direction) so men in cheap suits and women in unflattering dress' were walking all over the place as though someone had antagonized their ungodly ant hill.
and, for sacramento, this of course is the complete opposite of the normative - that is to say, our streets are usually filled with well dressed, immaculately groomed, 'i know exactly where i'm going' government officials that monopolize the state capitol m-f. .

Oh yes...there are more JW's taking from the Government. We have family members doing this as we speak. We have watched many a JW take from the government (all in the name of Jehovah) and also mooch off of any available person they can (a free place to stay, a free meal or two or three or four,etc, or a green hand shake) . These desperate JW's are great "suck ups." -

you have to be strong especially if you were raised in a way of life that dictated so much of who you were .
while being raised as a jehovah's witness i was taught to follow ,unquestionally follow .i was told to put others before myself ,serve,don't stand out ,don't be independent .

This is a great post. I am glad it was bumped from 9 months ago. This expression above reminds me of a quote by Oscar Wilde, "Be yourself, everyone else is already taken."
I have come to the conclusion that I really don't care what others think about me. I am comfortable in my own skin. I don't need anyone's admiration. I am a good person and don't need anyone pissing on my parade.
The JW's are conditioned and thrive off of your demise. I truly believe they enjoy the gossip ("I hear they are no longer attending the Meetings/service/assemblies. They have left Jehovah." They enjoy every second of it and if they could stone you, like in Bible times, they would.
Like our wonderful Doc says on here, "the best revenge is living a happy and successful life." I love that one Doc...you're the best!

children.
this "fact" has never been revealed in the org's literature, in fact, this article which was published under geoffrey jackson's supervision, by definition demonstrates the org's approval of corporal punishment for j.w.

There words are coming back to bite them.
When I used to take my kids to the baby area (during assemblies) to change, eat, etc., there were PLENTY of parents who went a bit to far in disciplining their children. It was very hard to watch this.

Canadian branch getting rid of their trucks and drivers
by wannaexit ina recent letter to the elders outlined the new arrangement for delivering literature to the congregations.
the canadian branch will be downsizing by eliminating drivers and trucks and utilizing commercial carriers to bring the boxes of monthly literature .
more outsourcing and more lay offs.. the funny thing about it is that they want to have the literature delivered to various private homes of the rank and file rather than have the literature delivered to the kingdom hall.

So many Bethelites thought they were set for life. Once they are laid off, they have very little skills to survive in the world. It is truly sad. We can see this happening once they finish the Warwick resort, more will be "put back in the field."
I agree with someone who posted about letting the Book Studies go due to the cost of gas. WT uses excuses when it suits THEM. If it benefits THEM, they make the change. Look at how EVIL the internet and IPads were just a few short years ago. NOW...EVERYONE HAS AN IPAD! Gee...now they don't have to print so much. Hmm!

i couldn't today so i figured i'd drive by my parent's house and ask if i could change there seeing as they live two blocks from my house.
as i am pulling up to my parent's i see a familiar face.

It is LONG GONE. The religion we were born into is long gone (not that the old version was much better). This is the new and improved JW. They don't even use Jehovahs Witnesses to identify themselves, they are JW's.

by C0ntr013r ini went through the original footage to get a good look at the watch.. from these pictures we can probably say that it is a apple watch and that it has a golden color.
the color on the pin is black, and the band is white, grey, silvery or beige.. .
the pin is in the exact place for it to be a apple watch.. only apple watch edition have the gold color.

Everything is back on track
by sp74bb inespecially to those who know me in person, i wanted to share with you my joy today.. i spoke today very long with my jw family of my position (away from the org, separated and gay), without any criticism or attack or threat.
quite an achievement.. why about this change?
parents age is moving them to see the reality of the situation.

It is amazing when you actually SEE the lack of love with your own eyes! When we went through a difficult time, we looked at each other and said, "they really don't care, do they?" That is the moment we walked away.
They spin, all of your life, that your "Brothers and Sisters" will be there for you when you need them. The reality of it is quite different. You have to see it with your own eyes to truly have it sink in.
