1st Year not attending RC
by BeautifulMind ini feel relieved to spend that time doing anything else but sitting in a stadium for 8 hours with only an hour break listening to the same talks i've been hearing since i was a child.
not to mention trying to keep my young boys quiet so i wouldnt get the evil looks in my section😂😂.
lot of walking was going on for us to try and tire them out.

You can't even get married in the Kingdom Hall if you fooled around before your wedding. I guess you can use the Kingdom Hall for a funeral for a deceased prescription drug user. The double standards in this cult are incredible. Membership DOES have its privelges.
I guess if they DF'd every JW who over uses prescription meds, there would not be any JW's left. Lol

It's all about WHO you are with the JW's.
You will hear from most JW's...."what a great witness to the community."
Princes death ='s 15 minutes of fame for the WBTS.

There are two cart witnesses outside of my office window - Faneuil Hall in Boston - should I approach them?
by Billzfan23 ini asked a couple of them farther up the street by north station if they had ever seen beth sarim - and that they should look it up...for some interesting facts about their history.. .

No. Enjoy your day, go have a nice lunch. They won't get it or care. The higher ups are just telling the dubs that "they are apostate driven lies." -

dubstepped said it perfectly!
Shunning does not make ones want to return. The JW's just can't get that!

by rebelfighter inso after the 2 special pioneers visited i thought i had given them an earful about the arc and the pedophile problem in their organization surely they would have put me on the do not call list.. oh, no not my luck i get an elder and his lovely little mute wife with infant child in the stroller this morning at 9 am.
don't these people have a job to go to?

Stay in the Boat
by stuckinarut2 ininteresting video from the mormans.... it sounds so much like a witness illustration!.

I wonder if the would let you "stay in the boat" if you gave NO money?
Me thinks NOT!
The only truthful thing the JW's have stated..."religion is a snare and a racket."

"do not go beyond the things written"
by stuckinarut2 inthanks to bu2b and splash who mentioned this quote in another thread!.
but i thought it deserved a thread all of its own, such is the impact of this:.
the very best example of going beyond the things written comes from a 2008 watchtower.

I know what you mean. They constantly go beyond what is written.
It reminds me of the Regional Convention program. One talk is titled "Shun unrepentant ones" and the next talk is "Be Forgiving." You just have to laugh!
JW's the BIGGEST HYPOCRITES EVER!

My brother died last night
by LisaRose ini found out this morning that my brother died last night, he was also an ex jw, 73 years old and died of heart disease and kidney failure.
it was not totally unexpected, as he had been in poor health, but it's a blow, especially as i just lost another brother two years ago.
there were six of us, now only four.
