by stuckinarut2 inyes, that is what a witness said after the police shootings and terrible aftermath of violence occurred this week in the usa..... they said that it now gives them a chance to live forever...as if they would not have had that opportunity if they had not been tragically killed..... of course according to witness teachings, the contradictory thing is that if the big a had come a day before, then those same people would have been killed by jehovah because they were not his worshipers.....

Helped with fathers funeral, helped with arranging care for my mother - then SHUNNED again!!
by EssexBoy1 inwell i have not been on this site for ages - so long that i had forgotten my username etc and have had to start again!.
anyway briefly - bought up in 'the truth', baptised at 18, married at 21, had kids, got divorced, remarried, disfellowshipped 15 years ago.. parents and brother shun me.. early last year father very ill, calls me.
i arrange to visit him in hospital.

Sorry for your loss. Their sympathy does not last long, if at all. UNTIL....it happens to THEM. JW's never "get" anything until it happens to them.

What is the current suicide and mental illness rate among JWs and previous members
by 060702015 inthere seems to be no current data on this information and there is questions concerning the validation of past data.
apparently there is high rate of mental illness and suicide.
jehovahs witnesses suicide rate 5 to 10 times above average.

Great comment xjwsrock. This always bothered me. They condemn you if you pursue these things but they will take the money and time you can provide to THEM. Disgusting hypocrisy!

Contempt of court, case in San Diego county really disgusts me!
by Crazyguy inthis case has to be talked about by ever awake jw every apostate everyone.
this case because they refuse to hand over documents the court already knows they have because they handed them over before but heavily redacted, is the icing on the cake!
this case shows thier evil plain and simple.

They used to push the seats towards the front of the hall, so it would force you to sit up front. I hated that. Imagine that...the brothers bullying others to sit where they want them to sit. Just another silly rule by some idiot elder who needs a little power for the day because he can't get it anywhere else in life. Bullies and Hypocrites!
