i'm leaving this site forever

as the title says--i'm out of here for good.. the site is full of atheists, communists, 7th day adventists, creationists, believers, deceivers, receivers, football supporters,.

dodgy types, cantleave---and assorted wankers.. so no place for me--because i'm none of the above so dont fit in.

so--this is goodbye forever my friends--its been almost average knowing you.

jws have one of the worst, if not the worst, retention rates among their kids.

i've seen numbers from 65% to 88% who leave, never to return.. you'd think this would be a priority amongst the leadership, right?

where do tomorrow's leaders come from, if the vast majority of kids leave the organization?

No new ones coming in from Door to door/cartwitnessing + teens/young adults leaving equals NO GROWTH! I can't express how happified we are. lol

This newer generation is learning to be more tolerant of others.They are learning critical thinking. They are internet and computer literate. I get help with my computer from my teenager. lol

It's a different generation than ours...you want a tatoo....get one. You love someone of the same sex...it's ok. WT is still in the June and Ward Clever era. These kids WILL NOT tolerate you telling them what to do and when to do it.

Last assembly I went to they were packed in like sardines and the attendants were like little hitlers when it came to where you sat. Have not been to an assembly in over 3 years. Wishful thinking, I guess.

Would be great to get the attendance amount for someone who attended.

Edited: The comments stated 4000 in attendance, 20 baptized.

Why JW's Rave So Much About Conventions

now, they also plaster these affirmations all over social media, "this is the best life", “so blessed”, “best convention”.. why the gushing?

have you ever heard anyone say, “mmmm it was ok”?

They have to rave about the conventions, they don't have anything else to look forward to in life. lol

i was watching serena win yet another wimbledon title recently (congrats to her) but it got me to thinking about her for a moment.

she identifies herself as a jw and if you look up any info on her it will tell you that her religion is jw so that means that she herself and the rest of the world identifies her as a jw.. for those of us who are df'd as well as those of you who are about to be df'd what is the reason?

and what is the main difference between a df and a fade away?

Membership has it's privileges! Follow the money!

Prince received a big fat JW send off, yet he obviously had a problem with prescription meds. He died of a drug overdose. I would get df'd for smoking a cigarette. Make sense? No. It's what happens when mere men are put in the judges seat.

Gulp down the camel yet strain out the knat.

Elders intervening in family issues

does anyone know of any good scriptures or reference articles that i can show an elder to hopefully have him stop intervening in a family issue?

i already told him that i am the head of the house and that they're usurping my headship but they didn't seem to get the message.

This is Mrs. Toes . This happened to my family as well. I quoted no scriptures. I said...."you are being intrusive, we don't appreciate it and back off." They did. When they tried again, I said the same thing. They backed off again. I will say it as many times as they try to butt into our business. We owe them NOTHING!
