  i come from a catholic background, but most recently had been with the churches of christ.

  i have contacted my local congregation and will be talking with someone tomorrow, hopefully setting a study up for next week.

  i want to study scripture, but also want to immerse myself in everything jw publishes.

  All I can say after watching that is..."our parents are rolling over in their graves."

  I think what shook us to our core was this one below. This is entertainment during the 2014 International convention. A band was playing and people were dancing in the parking lot of the Conyers Assembly hall in Georgia. What? We couldn't even play a "worldly song" at our wedding. I guess if it is sanctioned by the GB all is well.

  We were always taught that things were to be done with decency and by arrangement (1 Cor. 14:40).

  After being in the so-called "Truth" makes me despise all religions.

  after being a jw made me lose trust in religion, from the lies, hypocrisy and greed of this organization made me lose faith completely.

  what does one do after this mind f$%@, what is there to look forward to?

  do i make up my own agnostic theory in head and hope for the best?

  What a great success story. You should be so proud! We have watched our JW relatives marriages fall apart over the years. JW's do not like to look at the character of a person, It's all about the outward appearance and how many JW tasks you do which equates to how "spiritual" you are. Your wife and kids are lucky to have you!

  Another JW gem to make you feel like sh@t. I know of disaster marriages in WT. Marrying a JW isn't a guarantee. I know of JW's married to "worldly men" and the men are awesome husbands, fathers and friends. I know of JW's married to JW's and their separated, divorced or in a miserable marriage. This is the G in FOG....GUILT! More JW BS.

  WT Library. Kingdom Ministry Dec 2008 and Jan 2009.

  You will notice their formatting is not aligned. I do not have time to put in a chart. If you have the time, you would provide a great service to the forum.

  The top of the chart states: Av. Hrs. Av. Mags. Av R.v Av Bi. St. Hope this helps.

  We are pleased to report a new peak in the United States! The total of 1,105,789 publishers reporting is an increase of 21,784 over the previous peak of 1,084,005 set in August 2007.

  We are happy to report a new peak in the Turks and Caicos Islands! The total of 195 publishers reporting is an increase of 3 over the previous peak of 192 set in March 2008.

  Field Service Highlights first appeared in the Jan. 2009 KM replacing the Service Reports. No more detailed figures.
