  Snake In My Fridge

  i just now went to get meat from my fridge to cook, took the meat out & shut the door as i shut the door i thought i saw a piece of rope in the six pack i had just opened & had removed 2 cans, already drunk 1.. open the door again & there i saw what i thought was a piece of rope, but i look a bit closer ...... shit it's a friggin snake, bugger i had only just taken two cans out wtf.. .

  Has Watchtower taken the joy out of 'the good news of the kingdom'

  i ask this question for the following reason.

  i was sitting at the kingdom hall thinking about all the rules, procedures, policies, teachings that each member must follow ......or else!.

  at the watchtower study we are reminded of the paradise earth where we will all be the same and happy.

  "I know of two or three widowed sisters who are struggling to understand why the system is still here...when they at one time firmly believed that they would see the new system as a couple...so sad."

  We have family members in their 60's and 70's who feel the same way. They still think Jah's going to fix it all. They can't give that up. Every bad thing is Satan. They are getting older and struggling physically and are struggling financially. Some gave up marriage, children, education and any decent paying job for Jah. Their paradise is fading fast. They continue to do bare minimum for "Jehovah" and you can see the discouragement all over their faces. It is sad.

  How Many People Here Still Believe In “God”?

  because of this site i realized that there were many people who were active jehovah’s witnesses really didn’t believe in god at all.

  i’m curious how many people believe in god?

  i’m not interested in debating why you shouldn’t have a belief in a god or should.

  9 days to go until i hand my d'a letter in.

  its extremely short, as in one sentence long.

  i'm not giving them a reason coz i don't need to coz it's my life and my choice and i don't have to answer to the boe or gb.

  Watchtower is probably going broke on laundry detergent for the pillow cases. "Son of a bit*h, we can't get the stains off the actual pillows." lol Maybe WT will make a special fund set aside, "the pillow fund. You can just drop your donation in the Worldwide Work box, we'll spend the money where we see fit." How many times have we heard that line?

  So I guess all the honest folks at Bethel lied on the application. "No...we do not masturbate." So much for honesty in the house of God. Shouldn't the Governing Body have to step down? They can not lead in a fine manner with this going on under their own roof! Tsk tsk!!!

  What was your trigger to waking up ?

  i wanted to ask everyone here , what was your trigger to waking up ?

  i have been waking up for a long time , but in looking back it’s hard for me to look at one event and say “ ah ha “ , i think mine is like a slow leak - like a crack in a damn - and then hold on , because after that it’s just a flood of information.

  this is my first post to this site, im pale.emperor's brother:).

  first of all, i've left being a jw in june.

  since then my family have tried to convince me it's "the truth" and force me to go back even though it's my own decision.
