We received zero emotional support several years ago. A real wake up call!!! The Elders couldn't even show a bit of concern for our family. I would like to personally thank them all. We wouldn't be here today (out of the cult) if it wasn't for the "loving concern from the Elder body." lol

65Withdrawing community support in the congs
by purrpurr ini've noticed in the past 10 years that the social support that used to be available in the congs, a shoulder to cry on, elders to help with family/marriage issues these seem to have been purposely withdrawn.
counsel is even heard from the platform that the elders are not there to help people with their problems.. so first in the 80s-90s they take away the congregation get to getters and social events and now they seem to be going one step further in taking away the emotional support for people too.. this will take away an aspect that i'm sure was keeping alot of people in the borg, the community support.
if that's not there and its just about meetings and ministry how many will start to get their emotional support elsewhere?.

That is a beautiful site!!!! Maybe WT will sell it to a church. They sold ours to a church a couple of years ago. Let's see....I can't do any work for a church and it's up to my conscience if I want to go to a wedding or funeral at a church but it's ok for WT to sell a dedicated KH to a church? You just can't make this sh*t up!!!!

Need some encouragemant
by LogansRun inits been awhile since i've commented but i come by and read your posts about once a week.
so why do i need a pep talk ?
after almost 2 years into my fade these bastards won't give it a rest constant hang ups on my answering machine and today for the first time in about 6 months they come to my apartment complex but thankfully couldn't get in they did keep buzzing me so they were here looking for me.

We dodged em for years. Didn't answer the door, let messages go to voice mail, never responded to notes left in door, etc.
Eventually they will get the point. If you bump into one, just tell them that you are doing fine and if you need them, you know how to get in touch with them.
You DO NOT owe them anything. Enjoy the reunion and if they piss you off after that, LET EM HAVE IT!!! LOL
