  This is WHY he had to borrow $50 from YOU! lol

  His "spiritual achievements" are boasted about but they could care less about any success or achievement you and your family may have had to work hard for. See, those are "worldly pursuits" THEIRS are "kingdom interests." It's amazing how they will criticize you all day long for all you have done but have no qualms about borrowing your money (money made from hard work and higher education).

  Sound familiar? Watchtower criticizes those who pursue higher education BUT they have no problem USING those skills you have to benefit them (doctors, lawyers, nurses, engineers, etc.). Mother (WT) has taught its offspring (the arrogant members) very well. The nut doesn't fall far from the nut tree!!!

  1969 Awake on Education - A Sore Spot for Me

  my father would have started college 49 years ago this week.

  about three months earlier, the week he graduated high school, the awake!

  magazine came out with some very clear direction to teenagers.

  Yes, this 1969 article is still impacting our family today. They are now past retirement age (late 60's and 70's). They are working low paying, physically demanding jobs, no savings/retirement and NO WAY out.

  The impact and damage that Watchtower has inflicted on so many innocent people that thought they were doing what Jehovah (aka, the organization) wanted them to do, is unforgivable. I just hope I live long enough to see Watchtower pay for all the havoc they have inflicted on people and families.

  No, WT will never go away. It may decline but will not go away.

  When the Elders come a knockin, just tell them that you are fine and if you need them, you know where to find them. You don't owe them anything.

  If you have family in, WT will never go away. There will always be those reminders that the indoctrination runs deep.

  Just remember, they are stuck in a cult, you are free!!! Enjoy!!!

  Remember the Wife of Lot

  for family worship last night, our family watched remember the wife of lot movie since it will be discussed in the meeting this week.

  there’s a few things i noticed that i didn’t think about last time i watched it.. first, the dad is very of course against his daughters going to college or even trying to find a good job.

  yet he does accounting, which is a very good job that almost always requires a college education.

  WT forgot to tell the rest of the story, when Lot has sex with his 2 daughters. lol

  The interesting thing about Lots wife, she turned around and looked at the city burning and was turned into a pillar of salt but good old David schemed to have people murdered and did other terrible things but he was "Jehovahs friend" and was forgiven over and over again. No pillar of salt for David.

  Watchtower has and continues to loose credibility. The overlapping generations teaching is showing so many JW's that WT is moving the finish line once again. You can only cry wolf so many times. They can deny they ever touted the 1975 teaching but people remember.

  The internet is destroying them. They may not go away but they are decreasing. Good news!!

  The future of young Witnesses

  there's a convention being held near my hometown, and as i was passing by i saw a father taking his young children for a walk outside.

  and i wondered what would happen to those children, what they would experience at school and in their adult life.

  i wondered if they would grow up repressed and anxious and fearful and full of guilt like i did, although i was not raised a witness.

  The internet is killing WT. These kids are not afraid to use the internet and the younger generation is NOT afraid to leave the cult. As time goes on, WT will continue to have a bad reputation. A reputation of destroying families. Not many will want to be affiliated with that reputation. The borg will continue to show it's true colors. It may never go away but will be recognized as a dangerous cult.

  How many people in the congregation tripped on one of those bags because the Elders would put them out in the isle. We had one Elder who had his on wheels. The ole rolley bag! lol Like DOC says....dick measuring! I love it!!!
