i ran into a pimi who asked why my family and i were awol.

if you take a moment to look at the demographics of your congregation (if you’re pimo), i think you will notice that the youngest elders are in their late thirty’s and early 40’s.. that is the generation that i was part of when still in as an elder,.
we were last ones to work on all the quickbuilds and the big conventions.
we were the last ones to remember the original jw way of life with the gatherings all the time and the books studies in the homes.
As long as there are willing sheeples, there will be a WT. "There's a sucker born every minute." Like Sir 82 said, it will be a smaller group but they will still be around. Sadly!
"be bold" circuit assembly in conyers, ga (usa) today.. average attendance was 1220...5 baptized....mid aged or olders ones, no kids.

The International assembly in Atlanta was 2 weeks ago and the JW's have to sit through another day of this drivel? Torture!!!!

well, the typical person doesn't have to worry about field service and reporting time.
so why should i have to?.
Turning in field service time is not scriptural. It is a way for WT to gauge your "spirituality" (all the JW tasks you do). There a so many JW's who fudge their numbers. Even the Elders do it. We witnessed this in our last congregation. It's all about the hours and how you appear to other JW's.
