i was deleted as the cobe after i let my adult child move back home and he admitted that he fornicated under my roof while my wife and i where away on a rbc project.

of course the elder mode in me kicked him out of the house.. the elders moved quickly to remove me because i was too involved in "theocractic activities", i had neglected my adult son.. i accepted this primarily because i didn't want to serve with a boe that did not want me.

i was devastated however because it was the only life i knew.

So glad you are taking the steps toward freedom. I spent 25 long years in it myself. Pioneer, MS, even served at Bethel. The hard part is coming to the sad understanding you have been lied to and how to piece your life back together as this religion takes so much from us. I know you'll do well, I wish you the best and congratulations on this first big step!

I need to stop watching these videos it just makes me angry. That poor little girl sitting alone on the bus all sad. That was me in grade school because of this horrid religion. And now no family because they are all still brainwashed in that cult and they shun me. UGH!

my mom called me yesterday to ask how i was doing.

i hadn't seen her in a while, so it was nice to hear her voice.

we went through the motions of jw small talk and then she started telling me about her co visit from last week.

To me it seems like the major changes in worship would be to have more and more live and/or taped broadcasts streamed from Bethel. They want total control of what is said at meetings and this would be a great way to do that. It will start slowly, perhaps one talk every week will be replaced by a Bethel speaker, and then I'm sure eventually the entire meeting will be broadcast from Bethel to all congregations. Elders, ministerial servants, and everyone else will no longer be able to give talks, it will ALL come as a feed from headquarters. Everyone will eat it up as showing how united they all are when the fact of the situation is now the GB would have total control of all information given at meetings.

HAHA I love that it keeps getting put back up by people. I used to work at Bethel 20 years ago, this type of thing would have gotten people kicked out. Now I'm 40 and it's so sad to see all these young people brainwashed just like I was. But no doubt many of them will also find freedom like I have. Oh well, I'm sure if this was allowed 20 years ago you would have seen me in that video acting like a self righteous idiot too. LOL!

I've been thankfully free of this religion for 15 years now, and I know this is said over and over again, but it's true, I totally don't recognize this religion anymore. It now looks like any other church would have looked to me 15 years ago.

hello all... i currently studying the bible teach book and i'm just curious what information does the study conductor record about the student and is it passed on??

and they keep on saying "the truth" which is starting to get on my nerves.

My Grandmother who was born in 1920 was a JW, my parents were JW's and I of course was also born into it. That religion totally has destroyed my family and that of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Please research them fully and read the stories of others; the smiling faces you see at the study and the fluff they teach you is NOT the full reality of what your life will become should you join them.
